In order to better transmit the spirit of volunteerism outside the school and let the students understand the knowledge of emotional control, the Young Volunteer Association of the School of Economics and Law of Chaohu University went to the Affiliated Middle School of Chaohu University at noon on October 27 to carry out the theme of "Mental Health Education" volunteer teaching activity, which was responsible for Cao Shulin, head of the Office of the Economic and French Youth Association, and some members of the office participated.
At noon, the volunteers gathered outside the school with excitement and walked to the Affiliated Middle School of Chaohu University and arrived at 12:30 on time. After a short period of practice, the volunteers began to formally enter the class to carry out this volunteer teaching activity. After a brief self-introduction, the keynote speaker Wang Xinyue began to use PPT to tell the students of the Affiliated Middle School of Chaohu University about the types of emotions and the role of different emotions and other related aspects. During the period, Wang Xinyue combined a number of cases, integrated relevant professional knowledge into it, and the real and vivid way of telling the story made the students better understand the serious consequences of negative emotions. After having a certain understanding of emotions, Wang Xinyue played a video about mental health for the children and interacted with them, and the students actively cooperated, and the classroom was full of relaxed and interesting atmosphere. At the end of the activity, Wang Xinyue advocated that students should learn to be the masters of emotions, and also urged students to study hard and help more people in the future. The event thus ended in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.
This mental health education activity let the students of the Affiliated Middle School of Chaohu University know the harm caused by negative emotions, made the students understand the importance of emotional management, and also improved the comprehensive ability of the volunteers, laying the foundation for the smooth development of the association's future volunteer work.
