In the women's 500m competition, the Chinese team Fan Kexin, Qu Chunyu and Zhang Yuting all advanced in the first two rounds. In the final, Fan Kexin grabbed the third position in the outermost road, followed by Poland's Maliszevaska and Italy's veteran Fang Tana, although several attempts to overtake but failed, and Fontana also overtook to the first place in the second half. In the end, Fan Kexin won the bronze medal with a time of 43.865 seconds, and FangTana won the bronze medal in 43.593 seconds.
