On the afternoon of October 29th, Changning District Special Vocational and Technical School held the "Dream Light Up Life" science and technology festival activity, providing children with the opportunity to explore science and technology, touch technology, and experience technology.
At 1:30 p.m., on the playground of the Changning District Special Vocational School, volunteers from the Changning Shaoke Station were performing a high-tech model show for this special group of children.
I saw 3 drones "whizzing" in the air, assembling in a neat queue over the playground and flying in different postures. Sometimes they travel rapidly, sometimes they flip in the air, sometimes they change their formation sideways... Under the control of volunteers, they constantly make various difficult moves.
The cool air model show has just ended, and fire trucks, container trucks, and tank trucks have also come together, showing functions such as spraying water, reversing alarm warnings, and turn signals. Volunteers also brought the latest stunt off-road vehicle model introduced by Shaoke Station, demonstrating skills such as drifting, flipping, and one-sided wheel travel.
"The children were very attentive, and they felt the charm of technology in the model performance." According to reports, the school cooperated with Changning Shaoke Station, during this science and technology festival, the children under the guidance of volunteers, also made solar trolleys by hand, so that these special children have a sense of accomplishment.
The event included three themes: Dream Start, Practice Exploration, and Looking Forward to the Future. To enable students to explore technology and increase their knowledge. The site set up modern agricultural technology, Stand-Up photography, 3D printing, solar trolley, waste into treasure leaf stickers, intelligent life display and other scientific and technological experiences.
According to Shen Li, principal of Changning Special Vocational technical School, in recent years, the school attaches great importance to the scientific and technological education of special children, and has won municipal awards many times in activities such as nature notes, photography, ecological survey papers, etc., and has also won the first place in the drone competition organized by the Shanghai Charity Education Center.
