Among them, the first phase of investment is 2.058 billion yuan, with a production capacity of 11,000 tons, and it has now full production conditions. The commissioning of the project will help enhance the international competitiveness and influence of China's domestic carbon fiber, and will help the carbon fiber industry to further develop with high quality.
Carbon fiber is a high-strength high-modulus fiber with a carbon content of more than 90%, high temperature resistance ranks first among all chemical fibers, with the advantages of anti-friction, electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance, soft shape can be processed, its proportion is less than a quarter of steel, but the strength is 7 to 10 times that of steel.
China National Building Materials Xining 10,000 tons of carbon fiber base is China's first carbon fiber 10,000 tons production base, conquered the stable mass production technology of high-grade carbon fiber, is one of the large-scale production bases of high-grade carbon fiber in China, and the products are mainly used for high-performance carbon fiber in the fields of large aircraft fuselage, aerospace, wind power generation, photovoltaic new energy and other fields.
