The first time I encountered the suō tengu was on the column of the side guardrail of the Yamashiro Recreational Greenway in June 2018, under the thick shade of the trees, the light was not very good, and it appeared dim. While shooting, I wondered if some insect was molting, or if it was parasitic by some kind of insect.
I went to several frequent insect websites "by the name of Tusso", and I did not find the answer. However, after uploading the space photo album in the film, some insect friends in the same city said: This is the Shi zi tianniu, a very rare tianniu. Not to mention, this is true, until now, the network check "Shi Zi Tianniu", still can not find the relevant detailed information introduction, most of them are also like this: produced in Southeast Asia Shi Zi Tianniu.
On the afternoon of August 31, walking on the greenway on the same lot, I once again encountered the Shizi Tianniu, which is still on the column of the parapet on the side of the perch road. From time to time, sunlight sprinkles through the gaps in the leaves that blow in the wind. At a distance, when you see the figure on the pillar of the side guardrail in the distance, you know that this is: Shi Zi Tianniu.
I have the experience of shooting once, and I have some understanding of Shi Zi Tianniu. Knowing that when it stops perching, it is mostly low-headed, very quiet, and full of concentration, even the mountain ants keep "harassing" its foot, and the foot is too lazy to move, too lazy to move.
Gently touch it with your fingers, trying to lift its head and make the front head close-up better. It only moved slightly, still bowing its head as it always did. Occasionally changing the angle of the long tentacles is a big move.
I found a branch pole, led this stone cattail to the branch, and calmly "flipped around" to shoot a few short videos. Along the way, there are also a few pieces left.
After putting the stone catalpa on the branch back on the column, look at the picture effect in the mobile phone camera. After a short time to look back, the stone catholy of the pillar was missing. I don't know if I crawled quietly to other places or flew away,
