On July 17, Xu Mou, a citizen of Huating, took a suspected owl cub to the Ankou police station, saying that it was found in his own vegetable field and hoped that the police would rescue it.

The police immediately contacted the relevant professionals, and after preliminary identification, this is a red horned owl, commonly known as the owl, which is a kind of owl bird and belongs to the national second-level protected animal. The police expressed praise and gratitude for Xu's behavior in protecting wild animals.

After further careful observation, it was found that the owl had good vital signs and no signs of injury on the body surface, and then the police sent it to the forest near Xu Mou's vegetable field for release.
