North Eagle Crane of the Temple of Heaven on National Day (Yacheng)

author:Aidan's Natural Notes

The luck of watching the mountain in The Eleventh Morning was not very good, so we went down the mountain early. Try your luck at the Temple of Heaven and find the Northern Eagle Crane.

Last Saturday, I spent the morning looking for the Northern Hawk at the Temple of Heaven. As a result, only the northern middle cuckoo was accidentally spotted. Still could not find the Northern Hawk Crane that had been waiting for a morning in Orson North Park. This is the third time I've come to specifically look for it.

As soon as I arrived at the nursery, I saw many bird friends with telescopes and cameras looking for the North Hawk, and when I asked, the enthusiastic bird friends said that the North Hawk was all over the morning, and it was just noon when they were harassed by magpies and flew elsewhere. As soon as I listened, I felt that today's luck was really bad, and just as I was about to sigh, I saw two big birds flying from the trees, one landing on the tree near me. When it fell, it picked up a recent outbreak of invasive species, the larvae of the American white moth. "Northern Hawk!" I was so excited. The bird friends next to them also raised their cameras to "click, click" to take pictures of the scene of its killing of insects.

Subsequently, the Northern Eagle Crane flew to a large tree next to it to continue looking for insects to eat. The leaves are dense and need to be carefully angled to avoid the branches that obscure the northern hawk. When there was a good angle outside the nursery, I didn't say a word and jumped over the fence to take a full-body photo of it.

When the Northern Eagle Crane flew down from the top of the tree, it landed on a low tree next to me, and came to give us a performance of tickling, which was really amazing!

Looking for you for the third time! It was amazing to finally find it!
