Imported dried seafood (except for the code not included) should be included in the Catalogue of Food Exported to China from Countries or Regions That Meet the Assessment and Review Requirements and Have Traditional Trade before they can be imported.

What if a purchasing company or organization is established overseas to produce itself?
If a purchasing company is established overseas or the organization produces on its own, there may be a special relationship affecting the transaction price. According to Article 16 of the Measures of the People's Republic of China on the Examination and Approval of the Dutiable Value of Import and Export Goods, determine whether there is a special relationship, and truthfully fill in the "confirmation of special relationship" column in the customs declaration form; according to Article 17, determine whether there is a special relationship affecting the transaction price, and truthfully fill in the "price impact confirmation" column in the customs declaration form.
In addition, the dutiable value of imported goods shall be based on the transaction price of the goods and shall include the transportation of the goods before they arrive at the place of entry and unloading within the territory of the People's Republic of China, as well as their related expenses and insurance premiums.
When it comes to the review of price elements, the enterprise shall truthfully provide the customs with documents such as invoices, contracts, bills of lading, packing lists, etc., and shall also truthfully provide payment vouchers related to the sale and purchase of goods, as well as other commercial documents, written materials and electronic data that prove the true and accurate declared prices. At the same time, if there are price adjustment items (such as sales commissions or brokerage fees, assistance fees, royalties, etc.), as well as the assumption of transportation and related costs, the enterprise should truthfully declare to the Customs.
