The meat-weeping crane, a specialty of Africa

Meat crane, also known as spit crane. The head is white, the beak is red, and there is a red fan-shaped flesh hanging on each jaw. The plumage is predominantly grey , with a black thorax and abdomen. The male crane's bare top is gray, and the female's is white. It is the tallest of the four species of cranes in Africa, with a body length of about 132 cm.
