In Buddhism, believers take the Three Jewels of Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha as the object of conversion or devotion, rather than worshipping the gods that are popular among the people, so after Shakyamuni Buddha became enlightened, he first incarnated as a lay believer, that is, to teach the Three Conversions. The so-called three refuges are taking refuge in the Buddha, taking refuge in the law, and taking refuge in the monks, specifically called the Three Jewels of Refuge.
The Buddha is the enlightened one, he is the one who realizes, realizes him, and is the ultimate perfection of wisdom and merit; the Dharma is the method of becoming a Buddha as the Buddha says, and the reason why he wants to become a Buddha; a monk is a monk who learns the Dharma and helps the Buddha to propagate and broaden the sentient beings. Shakyamuni Shakya, who had just become a Buddha, said to two lay disciples (merchant Titan and Bhagavad Gita) before he became a disciple, "Take refuge in the Buddha, take refuge in the Dharma, and take refuge in future bhikkhu monks." Therefore, only by having three conversions can one become a righteous Buddhist.
Among the birds, there is an eye called the Dharma Monk.
The name "Dharma monk" comes from The Japanese language. This bird song is very similar to the Japanese pronunciation of "Dharma monk", and many literati have written poems to sing about it. In fact, the sound of the "Dharma monk" is the sound of another bird horned owl. When people realized this mistake, it had been rumored for a long time, and they had to make the mistake wrong, and even became the name of the ornithology and order.
