A hoax of hybrid hares

Hybrid hares, i.e. the offspring of domestic rabbits and hares after mating. But in fact, this is a non-existent species, and the genetics of the two are not the same, not to mention, even if the two mate. How can there be offspring? It's a slippery slope!
