On June 17, 2019, Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi walked into the courtroom as usual, listening to the confrontation between the judge and the defense lawyer, and making his own statement from time to time. It had been six years since such a day, and Morsi was so familiar with all the procedures that he did not know when such a day would come to an end.
In fact, this day is already the end.
Before the court adjourned, Morsi made a 20-minute speech, and then he walked toward a glass cage, which was a soundproof device specially customized by the court for him, in order to prevent him from speaking at an untimely time and disturbing public order.
Halfway through, Morsi suddenly felt dizzy and fell to the ground, and the court staff immediately rescued him, when Morsi showed no breathing and no pulse, and by the time Morsi was taken to the hospital for rescue, he had no hope of survival.

Morsi, who was a good mind and consistently ranked among the best academics, grew up to study at Cairo University, earning a bachelor's degree in technical engineering at the age of 24, a master's degree in metal engineering three years later, a ph.D. in materials science from the University of Southern California four years later, and finally returned to Egypt in 1985 as a professor of materials science and head of the engineering department.
Judging by his resume, Morsi received an elite education and had a great brain, but only to become a professor who taught and educated people, and what really put him on the road to politics was a mysterious organization called the Brotherhood.
As early as the late 1970s, Morsi, who was less than thirty years old, had already joined the Brotherhood because he agreed with the Brotherhood's philosophy of building an Islamic state of his own.
In order to achieve this ideal, the Brotherhood has made various attempts, and in the years after Morsi joined, the Brotherhood believed that the election of members of the Brotherhood to the position of leader of a country would be the first step in the establishment of an ideal state.
Under the guidance of this ideology, Morsi began to enter politics, and in 2000 he was elected to the People's Assembly, and at the same time rose through the ranks within the Brotherhood, starting with the members of the Brotherhood Discipline Committee, step by step becoming the chairman of the Brotherhood Party Group, and then becoming a member of the Brotherhood Steering Bureau.
The Brotherhood Steering Bureau was already the highest decision-making body of the Brotherhood, and it could be said that Morsi was already the top executive within the Brotherhood at this time. But in the eyes of ordinary Egyptians, Morsi is just a political newcomer who has stepped into the political circle from a returnee doctor, and there is nothing to care about or look forward to.
It wasn't until 2011 that the Brotherhood and Morsi's chance came.

Beginning on January 25, 2011, mass demonstrations against then-President Mubarak erupted across Egypt, bringing the country to a standstill, who ruled Egypt for three decades before being overthrown by an angry populace in just 18 days.
The Brotherhood knew that this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to seize the supreme power of a country, and publicly announced its participation in the demonstration on January 27, three days after the demonstration began. The move brought jail time to the Brotherhood's key leaders, including Morsi, but also their prestige in the hearts of the people.
Soon, Morsi and the other leaders were freed through a prison break, and when Mubarak was forced to step down, the Brotherhood quickly registered a new party, the Freedom and Justice Party, with Morsi as its first chairman.
In Egypt's 2012 presidential election, Morsi ran as a candidate for the Freedom and Justice Party and was elected president of Egypt with 51.73 percent support, leaping from a university professor to the most powerful man in the country.
Mr. Morsi was the first president in Egyptian history to represent Islamist forces, the first president without military support, and the first democratically elected president.
After coming to power, Morsi embarked on a series of reforms, announcing the restoration of the dissolved People's Assembly, issuing an amnesty amnesty to those who supported the revolution, and promulgating a new constitution.

Dissatisfaction with Morsi grew, and in June 2013, large-scale protests and demonstrations erupted again in Egypt, and on July 4, the Egyptian military intervened, announcing morsi's removal and house arrest, arresting hundreds of fraternity leaders and members, and dissolving the Egyptian fraternity.
From the highly anticipated rise to power to the time he was deposed by the military, Mr. Morsi, Egypt's first democratically elected president, was in power for only one year and three days.

In 1928, an Egyptian teacher named Hassan Banner found six other underclassmen who were living unsatisfactorily, who were disappointed in the country at the time and wanted to create an Islamic state that was infinitely close to perfection in their minds, so they joined forces to create an organization, the "Brotherhood.".
In the beginning, it was just an ordinary social group, but with an Islamic background.

1936 was a year of change for the Brotherhood. The British colonial rule in Egypt was unpopular, and the already powerful Brotherhood was dissatisfied with the British colonization and began to openly oppose the British colonists, which is relatively rare in Islamic countries. Soon, this wave of opposition spread to other Islamic countries, and a large number of Islamic opposition groups similar to the Brotherhood were established.
From this point on, the Brotherhood ceased to be a charitable welfare organization, but a political organization aimed at seizing power.
Restore the caliphate, take islamic teachings and the Qur'an as law, and establish a pure state in a world imprisoned by Western ideas.
The emergence of such a political organization has attracted attention, and the Egyptian government has taken note of the Growing Influence of the Brotherhood and has responded by restricting the Brotherhood's development in all aspects.
The Brotherhood was still politically new, and the Egyptian government had never been able to take advantage of it, the dovish voice within the organization became weaker and weaker, the hawks advocating violent acts began to grow, and the Brotherhood became more like a terrorist organization from this time.
During the term of Egypt's second president, Nasser, the Brotherhood reached a certain balance with Nasser, and the two sides fought together against the oppression of the British colonists, and had a honeymoon period.
But soon, as Nasser's government became more entrenched, the Brotherhood was again seen as a potential political rival, suppressed by Nasser, who set up its own assassination armies and sent people to assassinate Nasser unsuccessfully, who then counterattacked, sending agents to assassinate the Brotherhood founder, Hassan Banner.
Hassan Banner was the representative of the doves within the Brotherhood, and his death caused the Brotherhood to be outraged and the doves to lose their voices within the Brotherhood.
A member of the Brotherhood named Said Qutb took the opportunity to preach his extreme ideas, believing that the world today is in a state of obscurity, and everyone should wage war against this obscurity in the form of a holy war, completely destroying the "old world" in order to bring about the "new world".
Under the influence of this ideology, the Brotherhood became more violent, which also led to the emergence of many sub-organizations, and later those well-known extremist terrorist organizations, such as al-Qaida, Islamic State, Islamic Combat Group, etc., almost all of their core ideas were born from the Brotherhood at this stage. It can be said that the Brotherhood at this time set a precedent for the radicalization of Islamic doctrine.
The struggle with Nasser is a bloody history, the Brotherhood continues to send assassins to assassinate important enemy figures, Nasser also announced the ban on the Brotherhood and the arrest of its members, before Nasser's death, thousands of senior Leaders and members of the Brotherhood were arrested and hanged, this series of conflicts has greatly damaged the Brotherhood, and has to reflect on whether the path to power through violence is wrong.
After Nasser's death, Egypt's next president, Sadat, was one, and during his tenure the Brotherhood began to complete the transition from extremist organizations to ordinary political parties, which was completed when Mubarak was Egypt's president.
At this point, the Brotherhood has found the most suitable way to seize power for itself at the moment - neither rushing to power nor remaining silent, but by forming a legitimate political party to promote candidates, using the influence of the Brotherhood to push candidates to the position of head of state, and then transforming the country.
Morsi is the Brotherhood's closest work to perfection to date.
Unfortunately, it is not known whether Morsi's personal ability is insufficient, or the Brotherhood lacks governing experience, or the Brotherhood's current thinking is still not mature enough, both Morsi and the Brotherhood have suffered failures after a year in power, and in the history books of Egypt, they have only left a year's record, and have not built Egypt into a pure country in the Islamic world as imagined.

After Morsi stepped down, the Brotherhood was once again liquidated by the Egyptian government.
On December 24, 2013, a bomb attack occurred in Egypt, and the Egyptian government spokesman claimed that it was the work of the Brotherhood, and on the same day declared the Brotherhood a terrorist organization, canceled the brotherhood's legal organization registration in Egypt, banned all its activities in Egypt, and confiscated all its property. In addition to liquidating the existence of the Brotherhood itself, the members of the Brotherhood have also been targeted by the Egyptian government. Beginning in 2014, a large number of Brotherhood members were sent to Egyptian courts for trial.
In data that has been made public, 529 Morsi supporters were sentenced to death in March 2014, 683 Brotherhood members were sentenced to death in April, and even on June 21, the Egyptian government captured the Brotherhood's supreme leader, Mohammed Badia, and sentenced him to death, only to be commuted to life imprisonment two months later.
The Brotherhood was devastated in Egypt, so it's no surprise that Morsi's bizarre death will cause speculation among many.
After Morsi was deposed and placed under house arrest, the military has worked to sentence him to death, charging him with escaping from prison, ordering the Brotherhood to attack opponents, inciting popular demonstrations, and betraying the national interest.
To facilitate the trial, Morsi could only defend when he was allowed to speak, and the judge could decide when to let Morsi speak, and when the judge decided not, Morsi would be locked in a cage made of soundproof glass.
On May 16, 2015, Morsi was sentenced to death on charges of escaping from prison.
But the protests of the surviving Brotherhood and its supporters, as well as the incitement of the population, and the voices of Egypt's religious leaders, have made Morsi's death sentence difficult, and the Egyptian government wants Morsi to die, but does not want his death to cause unrest.
Perhaps a heart attack is an ideal enough way to die.
After Morsi's inexplicable death in court, it was reported that Morsi was treated badly in prison, he did not receive the necessary medicines, gave very little food, and was allowed to visit Mr. Morsi's family only 3 times during his six years in prison.
We have no way of knowing whether these messages are true or not, but if they were true, it would indeed be no different from a chronic death sentence for Morsi, who has diabetes and liver and kidney disease.
