Recently, the "Third National Agricultural Water Conservation and Rural Water Supply Development Summit Forum and the Eighth Agricultural Water Saving Science and Technology AwardIng Conference" jointly sponsored by the China Agricultural Water Conservation and Rural Water Supply Technology Association and the Rural Water Conservancy Professional Committee of the China Hydraulic Conservancy Society was held in Kaifeng, Henan. Researcher Jin Shude of the Fluid Machinery Engineering Technology Research Center of Jiangsu University won the Outstanding Achievement Award of the Agricultural Water-saving Science and Technology Award.
Kang Shaozhong, president of the China Agricultural Water Conservation and Rural Water Supply Technology Association and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, said that China has entered a new stage of development and put forward new requirements for agricultural water conservation, and hopes that everyone will work together to promote the high-quality development of agricultural water conservation and rural water supply, and make new and greater contributions to ensuring national water security, food security, and the full implementation of the rural revitalization strategy.
A total of 8 outstanding achievement awards were selected at the conference. Jinshude has been committed to the research of water-saving irrigation equipment and technology for more than 40 years, and has made a series of achievements in the research and development of metal rocker boom nozzles, low-pressure series nozzles, sprinkler irrigation pumps and other products and the promotion and application of sprinkler irrigation technology: in 1977, as a representative of the national joint design team of metal rocker sprinklers, he attended the National Science Conference; in 1985, the sprinkler irrigation pump series was upgraded and won the third prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award; in 1992, the research and promotion of sprinkler irrigation technology won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award; published four professional books. He has published more than ten papers; enjoyed the special government allowance of the State Council, was awarded the "National Education System Labor Model", was awarded the People's Teacher Medal, the National Machinery Industry Outstanding Contribution Expert, and the Outstanding Leading Cadre.
