In the early morning of Beijing time on November 5, in the second round of the ATP Paris Masters, tennis superstar Nadal defeated Fifi Lopez in a 1:2 difficult reversal after three sets of hard work to advance to the third round, which is also the 1,000th victory of his career.

Looking back at Nadal's previous experiences, we can see the trajectory of talented players conquering the arena. In 2005, a month after winning his first Grand Slam title at the French Open, the 19-year-old Nadal won his 100th career victory over American Player Armando in the second round in Stuttgart. The victory was also his 30th win in a stunning 81-game winning streak on clay between 2005 and 2007.

In 2007, Nadal came to Miami with the Indian Wells Masters and won his 200th career win in the fourth round with Argentine youngster Del Potro.

Nadal won his 300th career win in the quarter-finals of the 2008 Queen's Cup grass court after a bitter seven-set tie over Kalović. He eventually won his first grass court title here.

In the 2009 Davis Cup singles final, Spain played the Czech Republic at home to Barcelona, and Nadal defeated Berdych 3-0 to help Spain beat the Czech Republic 5-0 to win the championship. It was the 400th win of his career.

In 2011, Nadal won his 500th win at the Barcelona Tour with a semi-final victory over Dodiger. Barcelona is Nadal's blessed land, unbeaten in eight appearances in Barcelona between 2005 and 3013, and then three more titles between 2016 and 2018.

Seven months after being away from the game due to injury, Nadal made a strong comeback in 2013, winning 10 titles and finishing first at the end of the year. His 600th win came from the Indian Wells final, when he reversed del Potro to win the title.

In just 15 months and 113 games, Nadal reached another milestone. But the 700th victory came easily, coming in the first round of Wimbledon in 2014 against the hot-scoring Krizan, who fought hard for three hours before completing a 3-1 comeback.

After defeating homegrown star Bellucci in the quarter-finals of the 2016 Rio Olympics, Nadal became the eighth player to reach 800 wins.

Nadal's 900th win came from his most dominant French Open, the 2018 French Open, where he won 3-0 against Gasquet, who had been equally famous as a teenager, and held the perfect record of 16 consecutive wins against the latter. (End)
