The film began preparations in March 2018, and the opening ceremony was held in Ningling County on January 10, 2020, and was originally planned to be filmed during the Spring Festival, but due to the impact of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, the film crew had to postpone the shooting. After a shooting cycle that far exceeded the plan, on May 17, the movie "First Secretary in the Village" was released in Ningling County. The film will be officially released in 12 copies of major theaters across the country.
