In the next step, the hospital will give full play to the technical advantages of the advanced stroke center and gradually build a regional stroke prevention and control network system to maximize the benefits of stroke patients.
Director Zhu Hongbo affirmed the achievements made in the construction of the stroke prevention and control center in Hubei Province, and also pointed out that there are still problems in the work such as imperfect stroke prevention and control system, the level of diagnosis and treatment needs to be improved, and the development of key technologies for stroke intervention is different from other provinces. He put forward four requirements for further improving the construction of stroke centers: first, to strengthen organizational leadership and clarify work responsibilities; second, to build a multidisciplinary cooperation model and standardize the treatment process; third, to carry out appropriate techniques for stroke and comprehensively improve diagnosis and treatment capabilities; fourth, to strengthen the construction of information work platforms and improve work efficiency. He said that the construction of stroke centers is of great significance to the improvement of hospital management and discipline capabilities, and the leaders of various hospitals should implement the construction of stroke centers and provide more high-quality medical services for the majority of patients.
Director Chao Baohua pointed out that the prevention and treatment of stroke in Hubei Province has made significant progress under the joint efforts of provincial and municipal health administrative departments, medical institutions and medical workers, and has made remarkable achievements, established a province-wide prevention and treatment network system, improved the ability of stroke diagnosis and treatment, and set an example for the construction of China's stroke prevention and control network system. As the first Hubei Provincial Stroke Center Construction Dean Forum, 34 experts from 18 different (county) cities and regions in Beijing and Hubei Province, a total of 28 medical units, as well as the National Health Commission and the Hubei Provincial Health Commission, were invited to make 12 stroke center construction reports and chaired. The participants were all authoritative experts in the field of stroke construction, and the discussion topics were comprehensive, rich in content and practical.
The forum has received great attention from cities and states throughout the province, and sub-venues have been set up in various places, especially in Jingzhou City, 15 sub-venues have been set up, and more than 10 experts have participated in each sub-venue. According to incomplete statistics, the total number of participants in the forum reached more than 2,000.
The conference conducted extensive exchanges and summaries of the experience in the construction of stroke centers, conducted a relatively comprehensive discussion on the construction of stroke centers in cities and counties (districts) in the province, accelerated the process of building stroke centers in various parts of the province, and was of great significance to the formation of a stroke prevention and control network in Hubei Province.
