On October 27th, Shantou AYC ambassador Xie Sibei incarnated as an experience officer and walked into the 110 kV Tagangwei substation, the main power supply of the main venue of the AYC, to visit the first line of the power supply construction of the Shantou AYC.
According to the needs of the preparation work of the Asian Youth Congress, the Shantou Power Supply Bureau continued to optimize the construction of the power grid, of which the infrastructure projects involving the main distribution network in Asia totaled "1+17", involving 1 new substation, 11 new and expanded venues and athlete villages. In the main venue of shantou Asian Youth Association, a core load independent guarantee system was established, and the mainstream scheme of "generator microgrid system main supply + main power supply" was adopted, and the main power supply of two channels came from the 110 kV Tagangwei substation.
As the first 110 kV all-indoor intelligent substation in eastern Guangdong, the substation was completed in only 10 months under the condition of difficult construction, tight construction period and heavy tasks. The establishment of the 110 kV all-indoor intelligent substation marks the satisfaction of power supply security during the Asian Youth Congress and the reliability of the electricity load demand in the reclamation area.
The 110 kV Tagangwei substation solves the problem of no 110 kV substation and too long power supply radius in the Tagangwei area of Shantou East Coast New Town, which greatly improves the reliability of power supply in the area. At the same time, the substation adopts a special landscape design and integrates the style of the building group of the Asian Youth Congress venues to achieve the effect of being in harmony with the surrounding environment and helping to achieve the goal of "running a good meeting and improving a city".
