Affected by the epidemic, the 1999 age group of China's U22 men's football team was forced to give up participating in the 5th U23 Asian Cup qualifiers originally scheduled for later this month. However, this change did not stop the pace of the team's preparation. In preparation for the upcoming Hangzhou Asian Games football match next year, the U22 national football team will go to Hangzhou from November 1 to 10 to participate in the training camp. Including Jiang Shenglong, Yi Xuchen, Han Jiaqi, Ye Lijiang, Tao Qianglong and other elite players who won the main position in the Chinese Super League club, a total of 24 players participated in this training.

On October 28, the Chinese Football Association announced the latest U22 national football training list through official channels. According to the training notice, the U22 national football team plans to organize training at the Hangzhou Zhongtai Football Training Base from November 1 to 10, 2021. Prior to this, the team was forced to withdraw from the U23 Asian Cup qualifiers due to the epidemic and limited international travel conditions. The team organizes this training camp, and it is also hoped to further run the team.
