On the morning of October 5, Juye County Experimental Middle School held an operation drill for fire extinguishers and fire hydrants on the basketball court in the school's south district and in the corridor of the first floor of the south building of the central district.
Before the drill, Wang Fei, vice principal in charge of safety, made a general mobilization of the drill, and the county fire brigade Jiao Na, Zhang Jing, and Rang Shuli explained the use of fire extinguishers and fire hydrants to the teachers participating in the drill and demonstrated them on the spot. Subsequently, the deputy director of safety of all rooms and grade departments of the school and the responsible persons of the doorpost, dormitory, canteen, laboratory and other responsible persons carried out fire extinguishing drills one by one, and all participants could standardize the operation of fire extinguishers and fire hydrants. The whole drill process was tense, orderly, and safe, and the purpose of the training was achieved.
The fire fighting exercise enabled the school participants to correctly grasp the essentials of the use of dry powder fire extinguishers and fire hydrants, improved the safety awareness of teachers and staff, and further standardized and normalized the safety work of the school.
