"Hello Prime Minister! I will report to you at the theme presentation site. My name is Jin Yingli, and I founded the Hua'en Love Volunteer Service Club in Shanghai to help embroidery girls in Yunnan and Guizhou to start a business at their doorstep and lead them to the road to prosperity together. On October 19, at the launching ceremony of the 2021 National Mass Entrepreneurship Innovation Activity Week, Jin Yingli, the head of Hua'en Love, introduced The story of Hua'en to Premier Li Keqiang by video link.
Jin Yingli is the deputy director of the Social Service Committee of The Changning District of The China Democratic National Construction Association of Shanghai, a Hebei girl with a cheerful smile, who started from scratch in Shanghai and worked hard to start a business. For more than ten years, while starting a business, she has dedicated her love, relying on the Shanghai Huayang Community Huaen Love Volunteer Service Society, organizing thousands of Shanghai caring people to travel back and forth between Shanghai and Yunnan to carry out "Embroidery Lady Public Welfare".
Now, she not only organized 13 embroidery cooperatives in Yunnan, with a total of 1,056 embroidery girls, but also came up with a model of "company + cooperative + file card household + women's federation", which realized the dream of entrepreneurship with innovative moves, and also realized the dream of poverty alleviation and prosperity of more than a thousand embroidery girls in the mountains of Yunnan and Guizhou. She helped the poor first, with the entrepreneurial spirit of self-reliance and never accepting defeat, helped the embroidery ladies to use the small embroidery needle in their hands to embark on the road to prosperity, she was the leader of the embroidery women, and the embroidery girls called her "Nam".
The story of Jin Yingli and the embroidery girls originated from a dinner party of the Jiaotong University Alumni Association in 2012. After the dinner, the balance was 20,000 yuan. It was agreed that the money would be donated to those in need. Therefore, Jin Yingli went to Yunnan alone to fight the front station. She took 3 hours of airplane, 8 hours of bus, and 2 hours of walking, and finally walked to the Wubang Primary School in Nansha Town, Yuanyang County, Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. The moment she saw the local primary school, Jin Yingli's eyes turned red and she decided to help the 46 children in the primary school solve the lunch problem.
Donating lunch to the third year, the mother of a student gave her a Yi costume to thank these well-wishers in Shanghai. The exquisite Yi embroidery on it made Jin Yingli, who was a professional in fashion design, shine. After returning to Shanghai, Jin Yingli used the embroidery on her clothes to make an embroidery bag. She often carries this embroidered bag to various events. At a public welfare event, an international friend liked her embroidered bag very much. This allowed her to see the value contained in the Yi embroidery culture, and since then she has begun the road of "embroidery lady public welfare".
In 2015, when she walked into The Village in her fourth year, she was already a regular visitor here. The villagers greeted her warmly: "Teacher Jin, you are back!" "The villagers have made her their own. This time, Jin Yingli not only brought 20,000 yuan of student aid, but also organized 200 embroidery girls from Menglong Village in Panzhihua Township, Yuanyang County, to create the first "Menglang Folk Embroidery Cooperative".
The girls and daughters-in-law who have lived in the depths of the mountains of Yunnan for generations are industrious and kind, can weave and embroider, and they have inherited the thousand-year-old aesthetic code with needle and thread. "In the past, when I went into the mountains, I often saw their embroidery pieces, which were extremely exquisite, but no one cared about them, and they were casually thrown on the table and on the stool. The owners of these embroideries, no matter how difficult life is, as long as they pick up the embroidery needle, they look focused, happy and peaceful. In the world of embroidery, they seem to have found the strength to fight against the tribulations of life. "With this cooperative, the embroidery girls have increased their per capita annual income by 2,000 yuan. They are self-reliant on their craft, they can be employed without leaving their homes, and they can take care of their families and children. In the village, like the men who went out to work, they stood up. Zhang Lingqiong, an embroidery lady, said: "Who doesn't want to live a good life in the mountains for generations? Embroidered ladies who are mothers, who don't want to create better conditions for their children? Poverty is not our destiny. In the past, there was no way out, but now with the embroidery cooperative, we have the ambition to rely on ourselves, and we have the strength to get rid of poverty and become well-off. ”
In 2016, Jin Yingli selected the embroidery girls with the best works and the highest sales and went out of the mountains to see the world. They came to Donghua University in Shanghai to learn the combination of embroidery and clothing, and to Learn new embroidery stitches in Suzhou. Through systematic training, the embroidery skills of the embroidery girls have been greatly improved, and their inner pride and driving force have also been enhanced, and a number of embroidery experts such as Zhang Lingqiong, Li Shifen, and Bai Yufen have emerged. With the support of the Shanghai Municipal Cooperation and Exchange Office and the Shanghai Women's Federation, the "Shanghai-Dian Help-Embroidery Women's Grand Alliance" was established. Jin Yingli and the embroidery sisters were more energetic.
In 2017, Jin Yingli built the archway of the "Hometown of Folk Embroidery" in Panzhihua, which enhanced the confidence of embroidery ladies to strengthen themselves. In 2018, she implemented the Embroidery Red Project, and the number of embroidery cooperatives grew from 1 to 13. From Yuanyang to Luchun, Honghe, Jinping, Pingbian, Shiping, Shiping, Shilin, Shangjiang Township, Luoping, Xiyu, Maguan, Funing and Qinghai Maqin County, more and more embroidery girls are willing to join the cooperative, but Jin Yingli has a condition, and the embroidery girls who participate in the cooperative project are all local lika households. Helping the embroidery lady to start a business and get rich, "self-reliance, self-respect to get rid of poverty", this is her original intention.
The development model of "company + cooperative + lika household + women's federation" allows a mother in the mountains of Yunnan to find employment at the doorstep of her home, which not only increases a family income, but also reduces a left-behind child, and also has a happy ethnic minority family.
In 2019, in order to reduce the cost of labor and land, Jin Yingli moved her factory in Shanghai to Yunnan and set up a "cloud embroidery workshop", which greatly reduced labor costs and promoted embroidery peripheral industries such as fabrics, accessories, threads, and express delivery, benefiting more local practitioners.
Jin Yingli's entrepreneurial road has not been smooth. Starting a business alone, all difficulties can only be resisted by herself; starting from scratch, she has also experienced the cold treatment of riding bicycles to sell products to find customers; the difficulty of capital turnover, persuading her husband to sell the family car and still insist on going into the mountains to collect embroidery pieces; leading the embroidery lady to Shanghai, but unable to afford the embroidery lady's food and accommodation, she will look around for like-minded good helpers. But she never wanted to give up: "In my heart, I am full of hope, hoping that my actions can light a heart lamp for these ethnic minority women in the mountains of Yunnan and illuminate their days." ”
In order to ensure the development of the embroidery industry chain and fully integrate the "Dian embroidery" brand with the market, in 2020, she set up the "Shanghai Dian Help Embroidery Girl Grand Alliance Changning Exhibition Hall Embroidery Live Broadcast Room" in Huayang Street, Changning District, forming an online and offline sales model with goods at the same time, and bilingual live broadcasting in Pinduoduo, Taobao and Douyin opened the door to the international market for the development of the embroidery industry. The embroidery work "Magnolia Flowers" was shortlisted for the booth of the second CIIE Shanghai souvenir. Zhou Hanmin, vice chairman of the Central Committee of the China Democratic National Construction Association and chairman of the Municipal Committee of the China Democratic National Construction Association, learned of her entrepreneurial story and brought her products to the "Jiangshang Living Room" Chinese and foreign friends' earnest talk meeting to show the exquisite embroidery skills of the embroidery ladies to foreign friends.
Nowadays, around the embroidery of embroidery girls, Jin Yingli and her designer team have developed more than a thousand kinds of goods, including embroidered shoulder bags, embroidered bell bags, tea flags, throw pillows, briefcases, flower umbrellas, etc., which are exported to Malaysia, South Africa, Singapore, South Korea, Italy, France, Canada, etc. Jin Yingli has also been rated as "Top Talent in Changning District" and "Advanced Individual of The Minjian Poverty Alleviation Award" of the Central Committee of the China Democratic National Construction Association.
