Wu Qingfeng, an artist under Universal Music, who created intellectual property rights for his songwriting, would like to thank the Criminal Division of the Taipei District Court for scrutinizing the facts, upholding fairness and justice for Qingfeng, protecting intellectual property rights holders, and allowing creators to leave time for creation.

Since 2019, Mr. Lin Weizhe and his company have filed an application for civil leave of punishment against Wu Qingfeng and rejected it by the Second Court, and the first and second instance trials of civil litigation, as well as the criminal proceedings pronounced today, have consistent judgment results for five consecutive times, and the requests of Mr. Lin Weizhe and his company have been rejected by the court and Qingfeng has won the case. Universal Music once again calls on musicians to return to their original intentions and stop abusing lawsuits and consuming judicial resources.
