Behind the Kam drug case is a cannabis production and sale network that radiates the whole country! The anti-narcotics police personally described the game with drug dealers

author:Shangguan News

A few days ago, the Hongkou procuratorate disclosed that the high-profile talk show actor Kam was suspected of drug abuse and accommodated others to take drugs, and has entered the stage of public prosecution. Few people know that behind this case, there is also a cannabis production and sales network that radiates from many parts of the country.

"The drug dealer who supplied Kam with drugs is linked to a marijuana manufacturing and selling gang that we broke down last year, and we followed the line and discovered the drug-related crimes of Cam and others." Huang Ming (pseudonym), an anti-drug police officer of the Hongkou Public Security Bureau who participated in the investigation of the case, told reporters that according to the investigation, even during the worst period of the epidemic, Kam was still buying marijuana with drug dealers, and repeatedly allowed colleagues Chen Mou, Li Mou and others at home to smoke marijuana together.

Drugs such as marijuana seriously endanger life and health and social stability. Faced with a complex drug trafficking network and cunning drug dealers, how did the anti-drug police win this war?

During the pandemic, Cam also allowed others to smoke marijuana

In April this year, after meticulous investigation, the Ouyang Road police station successfully arrested a suspect who sold marijuana in the city, "This person is just a delivery, and his upper line is a woman." The woman manipulated multiple zero-pack drug traffickers by remote control to form an organized marijuana trafficking network. Huang Ming introduced that through the suspect's confession, the police found a drug trafficking gang engaged in marijuana sales in the city, suspected of selling more than 10 kilograms of marijuana.

The marijuana that Kam smoked was exactly what the gang provided. According to the Hongkou police, before the above suspects were caught, two orders were sent through express delivery, one of which was sent to Kam. At present, the police have verified that Kam has been buying marijuana from the gang since the beginning of January this year, and even in the worst period of the epidemic, he has repeatedly purchased marijuana from drug dealers, and has also allowed Chen, Li and others under his company to smoke together at home.

According to reports, in recent years, the number of people who smoke marijuana in Shanghai has increased, and as the police continue to increase their crackdown, especially the source of the drug factory, the living space of drug trafficking gangs has been continuously squeezed, and the price of marijuana has also soared, reaching about 500 yuan a gram. At the same time, the population that smokes cannabis is increasingly showing a trend of youth. Among them, foreigners who have the habit of smoking abroad and those engaged in cultural and performing arts work account for a relatively high proportion.

According to clues, in May this year, Hongkou police successfully dismantled the marijuana trafficking gang and arrested several drug addicts, including Kam.

So, how did this zero-package drug trafficking suspect get into the eyes of the police? Time to go back to last year, Hongkou lasted nearly 4 months, also from a zero-package drug trafficking case, successfully detected the drug project listed by the Ministry of Public Security, and the whole chain destroyed the extraordinarily large drug trafficking network that radiated more than ten provinces and cities across the country. The suspect was a related person to one of the drug dealers in that case.

Cunning drug dealers who trade drug money with virtual currency

Speaking of the case cracked last year, Huang Ming felt very deeply: "The drug dealer is really too cunning. ”

In March last year, the Hongkou police discovered the existence of a marijuana trafficking gang in the city through a zero-package drug trafficker, and immediately set up a special team to launch an in-depth investigation.

In this black-and-white contest, the anti-reconnaissance awareness of drug dealers has also been continuously improved. According to the clues held by the police, the gang communicated internally through a chat software. In order to hide their eyes, drug dealers also have special joint codes. "The upper house will ask 'are you fat', and the next house will answer '5 pounds fat'. Only by attaching the secret code can the transaction continue. Huang Ming said that drug traffickers set up many similar joint codes and "black words" that only insiders know, and they are very cautious.

Not only that, but the gang's drug trade method is also extremely hidden. In general drug trading activities, drug money is often transferred through multiple bank accounts to avoid police investigation. But the gang's deal is unique. "Their drug money is traded through online virtual currency."

Huang Ming told reporters that this gang does not accept cash transfers, and the next family must provide drug funds to the upper family by purchasing virtual currency. "They will calculate the remittance of drug funds into virtual currency values according to the real-time value of virtual coins, and the next family must purchase the corresponding amount of virtual coins on the trading website, and then transfer the number, password and other information of the virtual currency to the upper family to complete the drug transaction."

During the transaction, the upper family will disguise the cannabis as tea or traditional Chinese medicine and send it to the next family by courier. In general, the volume of a transaction is about one or two kilograms. Because the packaging is deceptive, it is difficult to spot.

However, no cunning fox can beat a good hunter. The experienced task force conducted further investigations around the families of drug trafficking gangs and the origin of marijuana. Under the coordination of the Ministry of Public Security, the special case team traced the information flow and capital flow of drug traffickers, and finally found that the clues of Shangjia pointed to Li Mou, who was in Henan.

More than 400 cannabis strains are planted, and the trading network radiates throughout the country

In April last year, the special case team sent personnel to a certain place in Henan to carry out a secret investigation of Li with the cooperation of the local police.

In the face of extremely vigilant drug dealers, the investigation work of the special case team must be cautious. "We have to be very careful. In addition to determining the delivery of transportation, capital transactions, etc., it is also necessary to test whether the other party has a trading network and who are related to it. Huang Ming said that the anti-drug police "have to hide behind drug dealers" and "when stalking, they must disguise themselves as locals, and they must also react to changes on an improvised basis, which requires boldness and carefulness." ”

"We judged that he must have made it himself, and the planting land should be in the deep mountains and old forests." According to the shipment volume and transaction frequency of Li's gang that were grasped in the early stage, the special case team had a preliminary judgment: "The key is to find his planting base, sort out his trading network, and then exhaust the net." ”

After more than two months of follow-up investigation, sure enough, the special case team found Li's cannabis planting base in a mountain pass in the countryside of Henan Province, with a total of more than 400 cannabis plants. "That piece of land is very hidden, there are no people around, and it is difficult for ordinary people to find." He also mixed hemp with corn, ginger and other agricultural products, which at first glance looks like ordinary farmland. ”

Immediately after, Li's storage base also surfaced. In a house a few kilometers away from the planting site, Li put a refrigerator to store harvested and dried marijuana.

At the same time, the members of the special case group who remained in Shanghai also gradually found out the personnel of the drug-making and drug trafficking gang headed by Li Mou. The time is ripe for arrest. On July 11, 2019, the special case team concentrated on collecting nets in many places, harvesting more than 10 criminal suspects such as Li mou and Hu mou, and seized more than 50 kilograms of marijuana.

According to the police, Li Mou, who was originally doing business in the local area, illegally purchased marijuana seeds, brought them back to his hometown, and asked relatives to help him plant them. Subsequently, Li mou met drug traffickers, set up trading groups, and gradually expanded his cannabis sales network. As of the time of the case, Li's next home has spread throughout more than ten provinces and cities across the country, and the transaction frequency is very high. Hu Mou, another core member of the gang, is responsible for inquiring into the cannabis trading market, helping Li to use other people's identities to apply for telephone cards, and assisting Li in managing drug trafficking networks.

"Like Li Mou, who grows his own cannabis and builds a sales network, it has become less and less in the past two years." Huang Ming told reporters that more and more people are aware of the harm of marijuana to the body, coupled with the police to increase the crackdown on the source of drugs, the gang drug crime is decreasing.

"But be wary of the dangers of drugs." Especially young people, do not hold a curious mentality to touch drugs such as marijuana. It's a road of no return. "Huang Ming urged reporters to be sure to admonish young people." I have met many people who were originally promising, because they were contaminated with drugs, and their families were destroyed. This is an irreparable injury. ”

"Let's use a pseudonym for my name." At the end of the interview, Huang Ming proposed, "Mainly for fear of family worries, but also to protect family members." This is also the sacrifice made by the anti-drug police, for the safety of themselves, comrades-in-arms and their families, to some extent, living a life of "mosaic".
