Why are we here? Is Earth a prison for life?

Is this world, the earth where human beings live, a prison of some kind? I began to feel that Earth was a place to learn, some sort of "hell", a "pause" for bad kids. This does not mean that every aspect of this existence is hellish or that there are no good things in life, but we must consider this.

If we look only at the most basic, inherent way of life on Earth, we may notice a few things.

All living things on Earth nourish themselves by eating, air, or water. Every organism, from humans to bacteria, remains alive in the constant process of obtaining nutrients. There are no other worlds or planets to compare this, and we don't know if this is "normal" or not.

But if you look at what we know about human history and what people do now, from the social structure of the poorer to the elite of the upper classes, we seem to be constantly fighting for something: for resources, for food, for power, for some kind of achievement. On a personal level, people are always longing for something. Then this behavior can be observed to varying degrees with the richer and more powerful people in the world.

Why are we here? Is Earth a prison for life?

Why do we have to eat and breathe to be alive? Think about how difficult it may have been for thousands of years to grow food, hunt or gather food: doesn't that tell us about the nature of this existence?

So that's the first thing: Why is the whole planet in a constant cycle of consumption? In many ways it is beautiful, it is not all evil, but it is indeed a world where organisms consume organisms for nutrition. Maybe that's not how all planets that exist work.

Now let's talk about humanity. Why does a baby behave like that? Why do humans continue to seek fulfillment from infant to adult? It seems that from the basic necessary nutrients to the superficial form of satisfaction, we are always looking for something external. When we go inside and break the cycle of constantly looking for external things to realize ourselves, things begin to change.

Maybe the world is a pause for "bad boys," maybe the world is full of people who stubbornly don't learn lessons, people who stand still, because that's a theme here.

Why are we here? Is Earth a prison for life?

It is difficult to understand this concept without studying past theories of life and karma, which may imply the belief that people who suffer in this world deserve what they deserve, but in fact it may be so. For religions, it's easy to say "if you do, it will happen," but there must be some sort of causal rule.

This "life is prison" theory seeks to address "why are we here"? There are other theories to address the question "Where are we?" ”。

Where do we exist? Some people think we live in a kind of virtual reality simulation. Some believe that astrology is a piece of code, a physical mechanism by which the soul incarnates. Some people think that numbers are part of the code, and that number synchronization happens to remind us where we are. These theories try to answer the question of "what is this existence?", but why do we exist and why is the Earth like this?

We may never be sure what this existence is, but what could be more interesting than trying to discover it?
