China Triathlon College settled in Zhengzhou University

People's Daily Beijing, October 28 (Reporter Yang Lei) On October 26, the signing and unveiling ceremony of the "China Triathlon College" jointly built by the China Triathlon Sports Association and Zhengzhou University was held at Zhengzhou University.

This is another triathlon college in China after Shanghai University of Sport, Wuhan University of Sport and Hunan University of Science and Technology.

Chen Xiaoran, secretary general of the China Triathlon Sports Association, Wu Hongyang, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Zhengzhou University, and other relevant leaders participated in the signing of the cooperation agreement of the China Triathlon College and jointly unveiled the plaque.

The establishment of the China Triathlon Academy is an important measure launched in the context of deepening sports reform, which will effectively promote the association, universities, provinces and municipalities, and the market to jointly establish a "four-in-one" model of triathlon resource sharing platform.

Chen Xiaoran said: "The establishment of the China Triathlon Academy, which gathers the high-quality resources of the China Triathlon Sports Association and Zhengzhou University, will build the college into a leading domestic and internationally renowned characteristic college." He also said that the establishment of triathlon colleges with colleges and universities is an active exploration of the physique of young people and the cultivation of high-quality reserve talents.

Wu Hongyang said that it will rely on the comprehensive research resource advantages of Zhengzhou University, rely on the integration and innovation of sports and education, give full play to the disciplinary advantages of the school, establish a curriculum system for triathlon sports in physical education, social sports guidance and management, establish a vocational qualification training system and standard certification, promote the promotion of triathlon sports and competition organization, explore new development paths for high-level athlete education, employment and entrepreneurship, and comprehensively promote the deep integration of scientific research and sports industry development.
