Counting, I have been to Hukou Waterfall more than a dozen times over the years. Some go for work reasons, and some accompany friends from other places to go on excursions. Before the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, A few friends and I came to a trip to Yan'an, and at the request of our friends, Hukou Waterfall became the first stop of our Yan'an trip.
It was also this trip that I got to one of the best guides to enjoy the beauty of the Yellow River Hukou, that is, "sleep" into the waterfall!
For the Chinese people, Hukou Waterfall is not only a magnificent spectacle of the Yellow River, but also a national epic. Perhaps, you have also included it in your travel list.
Located between Qin and Jin, Hukou Waterfall is next to Yichuan County in Shaanxi Province, and Ji County in Shanxi Province. It is the largest golden waterfall in the world and the heart of the Yellow River, the mother river. The Yellow River runs through the Qinjin Grand Canyon, and when it reaches the mouth of the pot, the torrent of more than 300 meters wide is suddenly bound to 50 meters by the stone walls on both sides, like boiling water pouring out of the teapot, playing the most shocking chapter of the Yellow River.
When we set off from Xi'an, it was raining heavily all the way. At that time, I was very nervous, and I felt that I would not be able to see the magnificent scenery of The Hukou on this trip. And because the itinerary has been set, I can only leave hard. However, the yin and yang are wrong, but they have encountered the best viewing time this year.
When I came to The Hukou Waterfall in Yichuan, the rain magically stopped. Affected by the rainfall, the amount of water in The hukou has increased significantly. The scenic staff told us that the flow of the hukou on that day exceeded 2500 cubic meters per second, and the scene was really super shocking!
Although I have been to Hukou more than a dozen times, this is the first time I have seen such a spectacular waterfall. Only to see the gushing Yellow River water rushing down, forming a group of waterfalls stretching for hundreds of meters, such as ten thousand horses galloping, mountains and seas, this scene, let us all can't help but sigh a sentence: "The water of the Yellow River comes up from the sky, rushing to the sea and never returning"!
Before coming to Hukou Waterfall, we all visited the scenic spot, and then went to Yichuan County or went directly to Yan'an to stay. This time I chose to stay in the scenic waterfall hotel, I can only say that I finally found the best strategy to appreciate the Yellow River Hukou Waterfall! After all, what better place to get a glimpse of the pot mouth than "sleeping" in a waterfall?
Friends who have been to Hukou Waterfall may know that Yunshang Guan Waterfall Hotel is the only hotel in the Hukou Waterfall Scenic Area with a waterfall viewing room. When we checked in, the standard room of the waterfall viewing room was 518 yuan plus double morning, and when we arrived at the hotel room, we were all "surprised": pushing the door can see the whole picture of the entire Hukou Waterfall, this view is simply invincible!
Our room is facing the second waterfall of Hukou Waterfall, which is the waterfall landscape in the background picture of the 90th edition of the renminbi. Outside the balcony is such an open promenade that visitors can walk around at will. There is a balcony at the main waterfall where you can take a picture of the main waterfall. There were also a lot of lounge tables and chairs on the balcony, but due to the weather, we didn't sit and enjoy the view. If you come to play, drink tea on the balcony and watch the waterfall, it is also super comfortable.
Staying in the viewing room, I also took an aerial view for the first time. Isn't it more beautiful than the flat view!
Because we live in the scenic spot, we also have more time to visit than usual. We went to the scenic arc screen theater to watch the 3D documentary "The Water of the Yellow River Comes up in the sky", which was super exciting. Unfortunately, the live performance of "Yellow River Chorus" was stopped due to the epidemic situation, and I could not see it this time.
Our lunch and dinner were also eaten at the Guan waterfall hotel restaurant, and we tasted a lot of local specialties of Yan'an, which were very colorful and fragrant. I was most impressed by the oversized Yellow River carp, the first time I saw such a large carp, the meat is still very tender, it is worth trying.
Early the next morning, we set off from Hukou Waterfall to Yan'an to start the next trip, friends can continue to pay attention to my next travelogue. Mid-Autumn Festival, National Day holidays, if there is no other travel destination, you can consider the "Hukou Waterfall - Yan'an" travel route.
