When it comes to the theatrical version of the anime, what I am most afraid of is that the protagonists are painted beyond recognition, and I am even more afraid of the characters Out Of Character. Fans know how elaborate the inuyasha has made for his two sons, especially for inuyasha is "eccentric", and everyone can understand the details by reading the manga.

The reason why Inuyasha wants to become a real youkai is because he has never recognized his identity, or he has not met a person who really recognizes him and accepts his half-demon identity.

So only when he can face up to and recognize this innate identity is he truly mature and powerful.
However, with inuyasha's one-sided and straight nature is not an epiphany, then there must be a person who appears, can unconditionally accept everything about him, including his identity and unfortunate past that was spurned by humans and monsters at the same time, can see his kind and upright heart under his violent appearance, will comfort him and encourage him to warm him, teach him how to trust others to interact with others and even rely on each other, let him understand what is most important to himself, and then he really met this person. So he was willing to entrust his future to her.
