The municipal garden department seized the favorable opportunity of planting flower seedlings, started the construction of colorization half a month in advance, and began to plant stone flower bowls and relatively hardy flowers in street flower pots before "May Day", followed by the planting of flowers such as cosmos, verbena, and hanging orchid. With the advent of summer, the streets and alleys of Bingcheng are already red. As of May 31, 30,000 dragon-winged begonias had been planted in the lower bridge section of the West Youyi Road Highway Bridge, and the delicate flower beds attracted the public to stop and take photos. At the same time, the five-colored grass landscape on both sides of the airport's Yingbin Road is "soaring", "six landscape business cards", "Harbin welcomes you", "Vientiane update" and so on is close to completion, and the five-color grass sculpture "Big Flower Basket" in Stalin Park has met with the public.

According to the relevant person in charge of the Municipal Landscaping Management Office, this year Harbin plans to plant 34.95 hectares of herbaceous flowers, complete 66 three-dimensional flower beds of five-color grass with a total of 164 points, covering an area of 1.33 hectares. In important streets and nodes such as Qunli Avenue and Airport Yingbin Road, the different colors of grass and flowers and the reasonable planting of trees and shrubs are used to construct a flower belt landscape with regular shapes and curves.
