The Luhu Zen Temple in Sidu has a beautiful scenery, and we came here. Deer Lake comes into view, and a flood of green water, like deep eyes, embraces the green mountains and white clouds. Because it is winter, this quiet sky, only the blue that is sharp enough to cut the emotion, if there is more of the complex blue connotation, the white clouds and green mountains will be lost in its arms, right? It is this gray and bleak that makes people more peaceful and rational.
About the story of Luhu Lake, it is said that a long time ago, the feng shui master Lai Buyi drove the dragon along the Dongjiang River from Jiangxi, and with his roar, the dragon immediately flew from Jiangxi to Dongshui Ridge in Longchuan, and then jumped over the Dongjiang River and stopped at Huangsha Pavilion in Sidu. Wherever the dragon passes, the beast flies. At this time, just when a sika deer was passing by picking Lingzhi from the Tianshan Mountains, he was frightened and overwhelmed and ran around. Lai Buyi saw that this deer was very spirited, suspected to be the mount of the heavenly Taishang Laojun, so he came from behind, and when he came to a large mountain north of Sidu, the sika deer ran breathlessly and was very thirsty, so he went to the lake under the mountain to drink water. Lai Bu saw this, and then he roared again, and the sika deer instantly jumped into the lake and disappeared. Lai Buyi walked to the edge of the lake to see that the sika deer was a fairy deer, and it had already made a big hole in the lake. Lai Buyi immediately informed the monks of the "Lazy Nunnery" in the foothills of the mountain, saying that the lake had a fairy deer knot and was a sacred place for the construction of Zen temples and temples.
After three years of nesting in the lake, this big mountain is also green, and a clear spring is spewed out from the mountain, and the water in the lake is no longer turbid and has become crystal clear, and the monks call this mountain "Deer Lake Ridge", and also change the "Lazy Temple" to "Deer Lake Zen Temple". Since then, the incense of Luhu Zen Temple has become increasingly prosperous, and many good men and women around the temple have also bowed down here to worship, pin their blessings on Fulu, and pray for the blessings of the Buddha, and they are very spiritual.
During the Ming Hongwu period, a large number of people moved into Sidu, and by 1545 during the Jiajing period, Sidu had set up a city and prospered in commerce, bringing opportunities for the expansion of Luhu Zen Temple.
During the reign of Emperor Zongzhen of the Ming Dynasty, Wei Shan and Luo Qizhang, the people of Siduyi, did their best to mobilize donations to rebuild the "Luhu Zen Temple". On the day of its inauguration, Shen Zhan (1642), then in Longchuan Zhi County, personally visited and inscribed a plaque for the Zen Temple, which read: "Deer Garden Heavy Light". Since then, luhu zen temple has become famous and has become a place where incense flourishes in the upper reaches of the East River.
Although the pale brown maple leaves on the edge of Deer Lake do not have the fiery red of late autumn, nor the impression of a stunning glimpse, under the background of the blue lake, it has more beauty, it seems to have nothing to do with the season, it has nothing to do with the world, like a flowing and calm concubine, in this mountain forest, simple and unpretentious, alone and elegant. The beauty that gives people a trembling is the true quality of beauty, which goes straight into people's hearts. These maple trees, just because of their beauty and elegance, also make my heart tremble and make people feel respect for it. I can't help but think of Zhang Ji's poem "The moon is falling and the frost is full of frost, and the river maple fishing fire is sad to sleep", I am glad that I am not a person wandering in a foreign land, the maple tree here is not the maple tree by the river, here is not the Hanshan Temple outside Gusu City, but the Deer Lake Zen Temple that shelters us, I will definitely not sleep because of nostalgia, I can only toss and turn because of these few maple trees that shock my soul.
In the arms of Luhu Mountain, the vermilion courtyard walls and blue-gray temple ridges are all bathed in the glow of the rose-colored sunset. Luhu Zen Temple is surrounded by mountains and waters, surrounded by bamboo trees, which roughly reflects the national architectural art and deeply embodies Buddhist culture. The Daxiong Treasure Hall is magnificent and simple and spectacular. On both sides are the bell tower and the drum tower, "the morning bell and the twilight drum awaken the world's celebrities and celebrities, and the sound of the Buddha's trumpet recalls the charm of the bitter sea dream", the Deer Lake Zen Temple, with the morning bell and the twilight drum, alerts the world's greedy passers-by, always reminding themselves not to make mistakes. This is the power of faith, the Buddhism of Luhu Zen Temple, in a unique way to promote morality, its unique sense of salvation is reverent and pious.
A leaf and a bodhi, under the Bodhi tree, the burning sound around the ears, as if from the clouds of nature, touching the nerve endings in the depths of the soul, listening to this music, feeling isolated from the outside world, into their own paradise, the cool wind between the valleys blowing the lake, enjoying the scenery, the mood is suddenly cheerful, peaceful and quiet, all the troubles and sorrows, worries and fears, are all in the chanting of this burning sound of great compassion. The current self is no longer the self just now, washing the soul, it seems to be reborn, found a better self, can't help but clap and pray: May the Buddha protect himself and bless the well-being of the people! May the Buddha give peace to the world!
On the half-slope of the Deer Lake Zen Temple, a large tree stood proudly alone, not feeling weathered by the wind and frost, but because it absorbed the aura of the Deer Lake Ridge and the deer lake water, it looked handsome and tall. It is like a heroic guard, loyally standing guard for the Luhu Zen Temple and welcoming guests. I suddenly felt that the landscape here was so spiritual, and the rivers and mountains were so delicate, that countless believers were willing to bend their waists. If the tree is like this, the fairy deer is like this, staying in this mountain, I believe that I will be able to gather the essence of heaven and earth and give myself the body of aura.
Walking here, you will really forget all your worries, and you will believe that the whole world is peaceful and quiet.
