The third National Old Games ended The Go Individual Tournament Shenzhen won gold and silver

The quadrennial 3rd National Games for the Elderly was held in Jincheng, Shanxi Province, from August 28 to September 2. The competition consists of bridge, Go, Chinese chess team and Go, Chinese chess individual and other sports, the participation is the province, autonomous region, municipality directly under the central government, separate list of cities group chess and card teams. Among them, the Shenzhen players in the individual go project won gold and silver medals, showing the style of the elderly in the special zone.

Shenzhen formed a team to participate in three competitions. On August 28, Yu Xiaoping, the general leader, led a group of 20 people to Jincheng. During the competition, the Shenzhen Sports Association for the Elderly has always paid attention to and cared about the competition process. In this competition, all localities attach great importance to it and have sent the strongest lineups. Go has a large number of amateur six-dan and amateur five-dan chess players such as Huang Dexun's professional seven-dan and Chen Anqi's professional six-dan. Bridge also has many teams and players who have participated in the National A A Club Competition. Among the Chinese chess players, there are 8 world masters, and the others are the top masters of various provinces and cities.

After 5 days of competition, the Shenzhen Go team only won the ninth place due to the temporary failure of a main player, but the individual performance was very outstanding - Zou Xinlin and Xu Wenge won the championship and runner-up respectively; the bridge team also won the ninth place in the last round of small losses; and the Chinese chess team won the Excellence Award.
