Nie Hongyan of the Standing Committee of the Wanzhou District People's Congress, Tang Hongjun of the Standing Committee of the Qianjiang District People's Congress, Li Hongliang of the Standing Committee of the Beibei District People's Congress, Dai Ming of the Standing Committee of the Changshou District People's Congress, Xin Shijie of the Standing Committee of the Nanchuan District People's Congress, Chen Shengcai of the Standing Committee of the Dazu District People's Congress, Li Yongli of the Standing Committee of the Tongliang District People's Congress, and Chen Yuanchun of the Standing Committee of the Tongnan District People's Congress, The Standing Committee of the Kaizhou District People's Congress elected Peng Jinhui by-election; the Standing Committee of the Chengkou County People's Congress elected Sun Qifu; the Standing Committee of the Fengdu County People's Congress elected Li Xiulin; the Standing Committee of the Zhongxian County People's Congress elected Huang Zuying by-election; the Standing Committee of the Yunyang County People's Congress elected Han Haiyan by-election; the Standing Committee of the Fengjie County People's Congress elected Liu Hanxi by-election; and the Military Congress of the Troops Stationed in Chongqing elected Huang Chunji, Wei Tao, and Deng Qiang as deputies to the Fifth People's Congress of Chongqing Municipality. The Twenty-fourth Session of the Standing Committee of the Fifth People's Congress of Chongqing Municipality deliberated and agreed to the examination report of the Credentials Examination Committee, confirming that Nie Hongyan, Tang Hongjun, Li Hongliang, Dai Ming, Xin Shijie, Chen Shengcai, Li Yongli, Chen Yuanchun, Peng Jinhui, Sun Qifu, Li Xiulin, Huang Zuying, Han Haiyan, Liu Hanxi, Huang Chunji, Wei Tao, and Deng Qiang were eligible to be delegates to the Fifth People's Congress of Chongqing Municipality.
Liu Yagan, deputy to the Fifth People's Congress of Chongqing Municipality, elected by the People's Congress of Nan'an District, Hu Wenrong, deputy to the Fifth People's Congress of Chongqing Municipality, elected by the People's Congress of Beibei District, Yang Linping, deputy to the Fifth People's Congress of Chongqing Municipality, elected by the People's Congress of Nanchuan District, Jiang Muchen, deputy to the Fifth People's Congress of Chongqing Municipality, elected by the Kaizhou District People's Congress, and Wang Junmin, deputy to the Fifth People's Congress of Chongqing Municipality, elected by the Military Congress of the Armed Forces Stationed in Chongqing, were transferred out of Chongqing Municipality. The working relationship is no longer within the administrative region. The Standing Committee of the Wanzhou District People's Congress decided to accept Bai Wennong's resignation as a deputy to the Fifth People's Congress of Chongqing Municipality (retiring to the age), the Standing Committee of the Shapingba District People's Congress decided to accept Zhang Min's resignation as a deputy to the Fifth People's Congress of Chongqing Municipality (retired at the age of old), and the Standing Committee of the Banan District People's Congress decided to accept Shang Yu (job change) to resign as a deputy to the Fifth People's Congress of Chongqing Municipality. The Standing Committee of the Qijiang District People's Congress decided to accept Wang Yong's resignation as a deputy to the Fifth People's Congress of Chongqing Municipality (who retired at an age) and the Standing Committee of the Fengdu County People's Congress decided to accept Ni Ersun (change of work) to resign as a deputy to the Fifth People's Congress of Chongqing Municipality. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the Local Organization Law and the Election Law, Liu Yagan's post as vice chairman of the Financial and Economic Committee of the Municipal People's Congress was terminated accordingly.
Up to now, the Fifth People's Congress of Chongqing Municipality has 860 deputies.
