Tao Qian (132-194), courtesy name Gongzu. A native of Danyang County. He was a minister at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty and one of the heroes of the late Han Dynasty.
Tao Qian was originally a zhusheng, serving in the prefecture and county, and was raised to Maocai, successively serving as Shu, Lu Erxian Ling, Youzhou Assassin History, and Yilang, with a straight personality and great ambitions. Later, he rode with the general Huang Fusong against Beigong Boyu, served as a lieutenant of Yang Wu, and then accompanied Zhang Wen to march on Han Sui and Bian Zhang. In the fifth year of Zhongping (188), the Yellow Turban of Xuzhou was raised, and Tao Qian was appointed by the imperial court as the Assassin of Xuzhou, breaking the Yellow Turban of Xuzhou and promoting Tuntian to resume production. Later, at the suggestion of Wang Lang and Zhao Yu, he sent envoys to pay tribute to the Capital, and was given the title of Marquis of Liyang by the generals Andong and Xuzhou Mu.

Tao Qian himself does not do good things, and also indulges his subordinates to do bad things, just take the most influential one. At the beginning, Tao Qian's fellow county people, Qirong, gathered hundreds of people to surrender to Tao Qian, and Tao Lian asked him to supervise the transportation of grain in Guangling, Xiapi, and Pengcheng. So he withheld the property sent by the three counties and used them to build a Buddhist temple. There are layers of gold dew plates on the top, and below there are layers of pavilions, surrounded by pavilions, which can accommodate thousands of people, make gilded Buddha statues, and put brocade on them. Every time there is a Buddhist bathing festival, a large number of diets are always set up, and nearly 10,000 people come to eat and watch on the road. Zhen Rong withheld the treasure to rejuvenate the Buddha, and the above was also urged to grain, which naturally could not avoid the tyranny of the levy.
One of the stupidest things Tao Qiangan did was to instruct his subordinate Zhang Min to kill Cao Song. Tao Qian and Cao Cao originally had contradictions and had a motive to hurt Cao Song. Cao Cao was afraid that Tao Qian would hurt his family, so he ordered Ying Shao to escort his family to Yanzhou.
