In February 1972, President Nixon of the United States visited China, marking the final breaking of the situation of Sino-US isolation since the founding of New China. In December 1978, China and the United States signed the Joint Communiqué of the People's Republic of China and the United States of America on the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations, which came into effect on January 1, 1979, and China and the United States established formal diplomatic relations, thus ending the 30-year-long abnormal situation.
The establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the United States is conducive to the exchanges and development of the two countries in the economic, trade, scientific, technological, cultural, financial, and other fields, enhances the strategic position of the two countries, changes the international strategic pattern, and is of great significance to peace and stability in the Asia-Pacific region.
"Imprinting the Initial Heart - Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China" is jointly organized by the China Millennium Monument Art Museum, the Seal Engraving Institute of the China Academy of Arts, wen wei po and other universities, enterprises and units, and more than 340 works have been created and exhibited in accordance with the four major parts of "the period of new democratic revolution, the period of socialist revolution and construction, the new period of reform, opening up and socialist modernization, and the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics".
