On the 21st local time, the world's largest triceratops skeleton was sold at an auction house in Paris for 6.6 million euros (50.35 million yuan).

The massive skeleton was discovered in South Dakota in 2014 and was discovered as "Big John," estimated to be more than 66 million years old.

This is the largest Triceratops skeleton certified by the Guinness Book of World Records.

It has more than 60 percent bone completion, more than 75 percent skull completion, a skeleton length of 7.15 meters, and a hip height of 2.7 meters (8 feet). The skull accounts for more than a third of its total length and has two large horns that are more than 1.1 meters long.
