Street
Jinxihe Street

Also known as Xizheng Street, commonly known as River Street, it is located in the west of the south gate of the old county town of Taihu County, from Weijia Lane in the east to the mouth of the road in the west.
It was founded at the end of the Yuan Jia Dynasty (424-452) of the Southern and Northern Dynasties, and has a history of more than 1500 years. The buildings on both sides of the street have undergone several changes, and many Qing Dynasty Huipai buildings are still maintained to this day.
Old Street was once the bustling commercial center of Taihu Lake, without the prosperity of that year, River Street is idyllic. In today's bustling small town scenery, its thickness and historical charm are even more highlighted.
Xuqiao Old Street

In the old days, Xuqiao Town, as a place where Hui merchants and vendors gathered, was in the limelight for a time, with boats coming and going, and brokers set foot.
Laojie is the only street in the ancient town before, the intersection from the north, from the gourd handle all the way to the south, winding to the gourd tip. The street is paved with bluestone slabs, and the street is no more than six meters wide, narrow and long.
There are still Huipai buildings and old tea houses on the old street of Xuqiao, with old memories that are difficult to give up.

Ancient villages

Longtan Ancient Village
Located in the territory of Longtan Zhai Village, Tangquan Township, Huating Lake, with the name of the first village of Dabie Mountain, it is a provincial key cultural relics protection unit, and has been selected as the first batch of traditional Chinese villages and a national AAA-level tourist scenic spot. There are more than 20 well-preserved Ming and Qing Dynasty houses, which are typical representatives of Chinese Huipai architecture and southwest Anhui architecture.
Cai Fa Ancient Village
Located in Jinying Village, Tangquan Township, Taihu County, there are more than 300 existing intact ancient residences, which is a concentrated model of Ming and Qing dynasty architecture in the Tuzhai folk houses in western Anhui, a model of the combination of Chinese Huipai architectural art and the local houses of Dabie Mountain, and a "living fossil" that reflects the tortuous changes of the ancient villages of Dabie Mountain.

White Fruit Village
Hidden in Dashan Village, Tianhua Town, it was built in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, and the ancient residential building complex is relatively well preserved, and it was selected into the third batch of traditional villages in Anhui Province. The ancient residence has a profound historical and cultural heritage, and the Zhu clan of the "Garlin Hall" has settled here for hundreds of years and inherited the style of cultivation and reading.

"Yuanxiuxuan" ancient residence
Located on the east mountain ridge of Niuzhen Town, it was built by Wang Nianzu, a jinshi during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, a typical Huipai building, and a provincial-level cultural relics protection unit. The ancient residential buildings as a whole are well preserved, simple and elegant, and the stories have been deposited over the years.
