"Amy" and "Sherlock" reunite on different stages, and the new drama tells the story of the older woman

Beijing News (reporter Yang Lianjie) On September 20, according to foreign media reports, the couple of "Shea" (Jim Parsons) and "Amy" (Maim Bailik) in "The Big Bang Theory" will be reunited in the comedy series "Carla". "Amy" starred in the play as Kara, a 39-year-old single young woman, and "Sher", who served as the show's executive producer, and did not play the role. Produced jointly by FOX Television and Warner Bros. Television, Carla is scheduled to begin airing next fall.

"Carla" is based on the British drama Miranda, which tells the story of Carla, a 39-year-old single young woman played by Maim Byrik, who opens a cat coffee shop in Kentucky with the money her parents saved for her wedding, in order to prove to her parents that even if they can't get everything they want, they can still live happily. Sadly, "Shear" Jim Parsons will not star in "Carla" this time, and he and Todd Spielwacker are co-producers of the show. "Amy" Maim Bailik is also one of the show's executive producers. The script for Carla was written and adapted by Darlene Hunt ("If There Were Tomorrow").

The original version of "Carla", the British drama "Miranda", is a BBC-produced sitcom that has a total of three seasons so far, telling the story of an elderly single young woman and her marriage-urging mother. The "Carla" project sparked a scramble between multiple television stations in the United States, and in the end FOX won. However, FOX and the producer Warner Bros. Television Department reached a similar "guarantee" agreement, if the show is not satisfied after the FOX pilot and does not plan to shoot a full season, FOX will pay the producer a large amount of compensation.
