Girls' Generation debuted in 2007 with her debut album, Into The New World, a song that remains a fan favorite to this day.
Given the iconic significance of the song, it's hard to imagine anyone debuting with the song other than Girls' Generation, but Hyoyeon recently revealed that the song could be accessible to anyone in their company for one particular reason!
In the most recent episode of idDP, Takayuki read a lot of fan reviews that recalled their maiden debut 14 years ago! These comments include:
"Girls' generation is becoming a memory of my student days. Why do I feel so excited every time I look back on those days? "Whenever I wonder if I've put in the effort and feel lazy, I listen to 'Into The New World' again." Doing so has inspired me to look back and be inspired. "The best song in the history of the girl group."
As she read the reviews, Takayuki went on to reveal a new story behind Into The New World. Fans know that the group practiced the song for a whole year, but she revealed that the iconic debut song was likely taken by other groups, as the song was written 7 years before their debut!
It's so much fun. Just like every piece of clothing has a master, I heard the song was written 7 years before our debut.

She revealed that the song could have been the song of many groups active in their company, such as S.E.S, The Grace, M.I.L.K and Shinvi, but due to fate, the song was shelved for 7 years until the advent of Girls' Generation!
There were a lot of seniors before us at the event - S.E.S., The Grace, M.I.L.K,Shinvi... After all this... [It comes to us].
Thankfully, the song was saved for them, as the SOLS couldn't imagine another debut song that was so iconic.
Hyoyeon commented on several interesting topics. An interesting topic hyoyeon stumbled upon was their group's extremely famous Party rehearsals.
Hyoyeon shared that one of the members actually shared the video in their group chat and revealed that they often watched the video.
A comment Hyoyeon read noted that the members were all dancing unhurriedly, but they still hit all the points. In other words, it can be said to be a "my way" dance.
Other commenters on social media commented: "How did you put on your clothes and go for a walk. The hoodie pockets are full of coins." In defense of their comfortable style and casual dancing, Hyoyeon explained how the members had just disembarked from the plane.
I think we just got back from a plane. So, the members were a little tired. They don't wear makeup and wear sunglasses. But it really looked like we were going to take a walk around town.

Hyoyeon also commented on an interesting moment in which Kwon Yu-ri did not drink a cup of shochu as the dance moves suggest, but threw the shochu out before taking a sip.
Kwon Yu-ri wouldn't throw shochu out, but why did she do it here? She made sure she got a good amount.
