It's no secret that life is not easy for K-Pop trainees. From strict schedules to lots of stress, it seems that the stress and busy schedules of K-Pop idols start before many people make their debuts. However, this seems to have been going on for years, even for those second-generation idols.
Girls' Generation's Hyoyeon recently appeared in a video on SM Entertainment, along with Super Junior's prodigy Shindong and blogger Quadurup, who is also an SM artist.
The trio talked about her first impressions of the members, her new songs, and much more in the video. In particular, she talked about what it's like to be an intern at SM Entertainment.
At one point, Hyoyeon revealed that she had been riding motorcycles since she was 12 years old. When Shindong asked where she would go, Hyoyeon explained that there was a milk tea shop where the trainees would go. However, she added, this was done secretly because the company was very strictly managed.
We went to XXX and drank peach bubble tea. But we are dead as soon as we are discovered, and we must write the reasons. We weren't allowed to go out.

Although it seemed stern, Shindong agreed that SM trainees were not allowed to go out during training. Hyoyeon added that if they did go out, they would try to not get caught as usual. She explains: "We went out, bought some peach bubble tea, and came back pretending we had never been out.
It wasn't an easy experience either for Hyoyeon, who spent seven years training under SM Entertainment before her debut. However, when asked if she ever thought about leaving the company, Hyoyeon never thought of going anywhere else. She added that it was thanks to the support they gave her.
The company supported me in many ways. We all took performance and language classes, visual spectral training, and vocal pronunciation.
Despite the success, it is undeniable that SM Entertainment is very strict with its trainees. While some might say that this will help the idol in the long run, it was an extreme move that students still face to this day.
Toward the end, Super Junior's Shindong played the girl's classic "Kissing You" . At first everything seemed to go well, and the whole car sang with lollipops in hand.
As the singing faded, Hyoyeon shared that she "hated this lollipop at the time," much to the shock of her companions.
She went on to explain:
I used to skip popping and locking when I was a trainee. But the concept of girls' generation was girly and feminine, so I had to put on a white dress, hold this lollipop, and dance beautifully.
Shindong sympathized with her and said, "It must be hard," while Hyoyeon simply replied, "I don't quite understand the concept." Shindong then asked, did the other members agree? Hyoyeon concluded the conversation by sharing: "They felt very comfortable shooting the MV. "
While this may not be her favorite concept, she succeeded. With such a high achievement today, isn't it?!
