Joy, the spring of life

It was a spring afternoon, the sky was bright and the sun was shining, but my heart was gloomy, as if the whole world had offended me, and looked extremely unhappy.

I walked toward a grove of trees, my head bowed, and my steps were slowed down by the dazedness and pity in my heart. When I was in the middle of the forest, leaning against a tree, looking down at the dirt under my feet in a daze, suddenly, a shadow blocked in front of me. I looked up and was surprised to see a strange boy. He smiled and looked at me intently, and that smile was like a ray of sunshine, bright and bright. He was tall, milky white T-shirt, dark blue trousers, fresh and clean. He had his hands behind his back, as if he were holding something. I looked at him indifferently and turned and walked away. To strangers, it should be guarded.

"Hey—" He stopped me.

I looked back and he said, "Look, this —to you!" With that, he held up a bouquet of finely broken wildflowers to me. He had an inspiring look of sincerity and kindness, bright eyes, and a smile expecting me to reach out.

I hesitated for a moment, but I couldn't help but take it.

This is a bunch of wildflowers picked by hand, there are white, pink and purple, and more bright yellow spring flowers. The flowers and leaves are still shining with shiny water droplets, as if they have just been deliberately sprinkled, moist, beautiful, and full of life. I couldn't help but lift it up in front of my eyes, and what came to my nose was a hint of idyllic fragrance. At that moment, the wildflowers that bloomed seemed to dance happily because of my appreciation.

"Do you like it?" The strange boy asked me with bright eyes.

I nodded and said, "I like it, but..."

"No, laugh when you like it, laugh happily, like a flower in your hand!" Looking at the encouragement and anticipation in his eyes, I really couldn't help but smile.

Seeing me smile, he nodded with satisfaction, and then rubbed the top of my head affectionately like an elder, patted my hand holding the flower, and then said to me in a tone of admiration: "How beautiful life is, spring is coming, everything is blooming, you have no reason to frown, give you a word - happiness, is the spring of life!" With that, he turned and strode away.

Happiness is the spring of life! I read these words softly, and suddenly my eyes were a little moistened by this strange concern and reminder.

Looking down at the wildflowers in my own hands, I pulled out my legs and ran, it was the kind of happy running, the footsteps were like flying, and the body was as light as a swallow. Soon, I caught up with the strange boy. Soon, I overtook him.

I continued to run as fast as I could until far away, only to look back at the boy, who had turned into a pale blue shadow from a distance. With a smile on my face, I stepped back, waving the bouquet of flowers in one hand, and shouted to the boy, "Hey, I'm laughing happily, did you see that?" ”

My echoes fluttered in the sky, long, like a string of beautiful notes...

At that time, I was very young, and it was a memory of the moments of my youth.

It was the memory of that moment that stopped and made me happy for many days. Whenever I encounter troubles, I will inadvertently think of the strange boy, think of his sunny smile, think of spring, think of the wildflowers with a faint fragrance, and think of the words he said: Happiness is the spring of life.
