Tuning method
Four- and five-degree tuning. This method uses a closed-loop loop of four or five in the reference group to obtain a 12-degree averaging law, and then uses 8 degrees of expansion.
Three- and six-degree tuning. This method uses a relatively large number of three or six degrees of sound beat frequency, it is not easy to distinguish the number, and then use 8 degrees to expand, which is a common use method used by domestic method tuning lawyers.
Electronic instrument tuning. This method adopts the principle of electronic waveform sampling, in the case of using a high-quality pickup, the software can assist the calibration well, while obtaining higher accuracy, but some old-fashioned mixers in China do not recommend this method.

So unlike tuning, there is no fixed standard for whole tone, some people like a clear timbre, some people like a warm timbre, there is no right or wrong, only preferences and tastes.

Sandboard sanding: mainly to remove the string mallet tip gully caused by long-term use, and to shape the deformed string mallet
Needle-punched string mallet: mainly change the wool felt density arrangement to achieve the ideal timbre performance in each dynamic range from ppp to fff

Whole tone should be operated by a professionally trained sound integrator, or with professional guidance and help, the piano integrity rate depends on the time the piano is used, and Petroff recommends that adjustments should be made at least once by a professional sounder during the warranty period (5 years).
