An open letter to Guo Beihong

I am at odds with your position, but I respect you because you point out that Lai Qingde "don't lie", let alone Tsai Ing-wen's use of "maintaining the status quo" to deceive society. You honestly told the public that Taiwan is not independent, so you are calling for a change in jurisprudence.

You should agree that Tsai's "status quo" is a big lie. The status quo can never be maintained, and abandoning the "1992 Consensus" and achieving "Taiwan independence" will only make the "status quo" more severe. Today, Taiwan is in danger, and Tsai Ing-wen cannot give a clear answer to Han Hanyu's question of "where should Taiwan go?"

Su Zhenchang said that we cannot "forget sovereignty" for the sake of money, but the sovereignty regulated by the Constitution means that both sides of the strait belong to the same country. Of course, you are opposed to this jurisprudence, so have you ever asked Lee Teng-hui that there is a "National Reunification Commission," so why didn't Tsai Ing-wen set up the "Taiwan Independence Commission"? When Chen Shui-bian failed to grasp the Legislative Yuan, he put forward a timetable for "referendum constitution-making", but Tsai Ing-wen, who was "fully in power", could not do it?

The speeches made by Brigitte and AIT in response to you in recent days show that the reason is not the mainland, but the obstruction of the United States. Many people laughed that "even the American father is not standing up," and most people in the DPP also looked at it coldly, but I oppose these ridicules and respect your pursuit of "Taiwan's future is determined by the people of Taiwan", and it is not the turn of the United States to intervene. I have always believed that even if the Taiwanese people really choose the "Taiwan independence" that the mainland has repeatedly warned of as a "dead end," it will also be the fate of the Taiwanese people to "self-determination and self-extinction."

I only remind that the Taiwanese people can decide which road to take, but they cannot decide how others will respond, including the United States from obstructing the situation to watching from the sidelines, not to mention the decisive actions that the mainland will take, and all the sons and daughters of China who insist on national reunification and national rejuvenation.

In 2014, Lin Feifan and others wanted to argue with the mainland that "Taiwan's future is determined by the Taiwanese", and I asked to argue with the Youth of the New Party first.

But what disappointed me was that you immediately backed down and explained to the United States that the "Taiwan independence referendum" only expressed rhetoric and ideas and "did not change the status quo." If this is the case, have you been doing so for half a day, accepting the constitution of both sides of the strait belonging to the same China and accepting the current situation that the international community recognizes Taiwan as a part of China? Even Tsai Ing-wen now calls herself "Taiwan of the Republic of China", which is shortened to "Taiwan", and you all accept it?

I know you don't identify with yourself as Chinese, but you probably don't identify with being American. However, in the face of AIT's interference, you not only did not protest solemnly, but also castrated the "actions" of the "Taiwan independence referendum" into "remarks" that "there is no attempt to change the status quo." The "Referendum Law" has not been amended, so why have you been held in the palace by the Americans?

No wonder many people question that your establishment of "Joy Island" is just a "cash machine" to blackmail the DPP? If not, you should continue to act to prove that Ko Wenzhe's statement that "reunification and independence is a false issue" is wrong, because the mainland is determined to be unified, and you do want independence. You should also ask Tsai Ing-wen to declare that "Taiwan must be independent and will inevitably become independent", and immediately revise the "non-nuclear" policy and conscription system so that Taiwan will have enough energy and troops to convince everyone that Taiwan can become independent even without the United States.

I hope that you will not forget your original intention and adhere to your mission, just as I was persecuted by the green terror judiciary and continue to advocate unity. More importantly, please retract your so-called "Taiwan independence referendum" and "change the status quo", because this is not only self-deception, but also a shaking of your own faith.
