Rhinoceros viper, mainly distributed in West and Central Africa.

Rhinoceros vipers are best known for their long, pointed horns on the tip of their noses, shaped like rhino horns, hence the name.
Rhinoceros vipers are large and stocky , ranging in length from 72 to 107 cm.
Rhinoceros vipers have flattened, triangular heads and sharp teeth.
Rhinoceros vipers inhabit wooded areas and are nocturnal snakes, hiding under trees, burrows or dead wood crevices on the ground during the day.
It is also dangerous to grab the tails of rhinoceros vipers, as their tails are strong enough to prop up their bodies and bite their opponents.
If bitten by a rhinoceros viper, the wound will swell and gangrene, and if not treated in time, it will eventually lead to death. (Wound after rhinoceros viper bite)
