In order to further enrich the series of activities for the tenth anniversary of the award of the brigade, promote the study and education of party history, continue to work hard and forge ahead, the Potala Palace Fire Rescue Brigade actively docked with the Shanghai Railway Station Fire Rescue Station, and on the afternoon of October 22, in the form of remote connection, jointly launched the "Great Love Without Boundaries, Building Meritorious Tibet" Party Day activity with the Tibet Office in Shanghai, the Shanghai Tibet Aid Association, the Shanghai Railway Station Fire Rescue Station and other units. Yang Zhonghua, director of the Tibet Autonomous Region Office in Shanghai, Jiang Tiansheng, director of the Comprehensive Department, Zhao Wei, vice president of the Shanghai Association for Aiding Tibet, Lu Jijun, deputy director of the Political Department of the Shanghai Fire and Rescue Corps, and representatives of personnel who are assisting Tibet or who have aided Tibet participated in the activities.
After Visiting the Fire Rescue Station of Jianxue Station, the brigade invited Director Yang Zhonghua and two Shanghai cadres aiding Tibet to conduct a remote connection forum.
At the forum, On behalf of all the commanders and fighters of the Potala Palace Brigade, Captain Rob Tsering expressed his respect and greetings to the leaders and comrades-in-arms at the Shanghai venue, and expressed his heartfelt thanks to the comrades who are assisting Tibet or who have aided Tibet. He also introduced the work achievements made by the Potala Palace Fire rescue brigade in the past ten years, and shared some of the experiences and insights of the brigade in carrying out the study and education of party history.
As a cadre of the Shanghai Fire Rescue Corps who once participated in the work of aiding Tibet, Lu Jijun, deputy director of the Political Department of the Shanghai Fire Rescue Corps, fondly recalled his years of work in Tibet, he had participated in the promotion of the "Potala Palace Model Fire Brigade", fully affirming that generations of Firefighters stationed in the World Cultural Heritage with youth and dedication, focusing on the main business, faithfully performing their duties, and achieving excellent results of "zero fire" for 37 consecutive years. In addition, he extended encouragement and blessings to the Shanghai cadres who were assisting Tibet in Naqu and Ali, put forward hopes for the fire commanders and fighters present, and encouraged everyone to faithfully practice the spirit of the general secretary's important precepts, always maintain firm ideals and convictions, strong political responsibility, excellent professional quality, tenacious combat quality, and strict discipline style, consciously benchmark the functional positioning of the "main force and national team" of emergency rescue, be modest and prudent, not arrogant and impatient, and work hard, and create achievements worthy of history and the people.
Subsequently, the brigade offered Hatta remotely to comrades who attended the meeting, who had built Tibet in Shanghai and aided Tibet. Finally, all the participants had a heated discussion on the dedication spirit of "not forgetting the original intention and building a meritorious Tibet".
The theme party day activities have novel forms and rich connotations, so that all commanders and fighters have more clearly defined the original intention and mission of communists, and have strengthened their belief in loyalty to the party and service to the people. After the event, everyone expressed that they would better implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech during his inspection in Tibet, continuously carry forward the spirit of selfless dedication and fearlessness in their work and practice, and make due contributions to the development and stability of the country.
