Anhui Province's wheat yield broke another record The yield of a wheat field in Woyang reached 860.6 kg

　　On June 5, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs organized an expert group of relevant experts from the national wheat industry system to conduct actual harvest and yield measurement on three wheat high-yield fields in three townships in Woyang County, Bozhou City. Among them, a wheat high-yield field located in Xinxing Town, Woyang County, Bozhou City, yielded 860.6 kg, once again refreshing the wheat yield record in our province.

　　According to the former Ministry of Agriculture's "Measures for the Establishment and Acceptance of National Grain High Yields (Trial Implementation)", on the basis of listening to relevant briefings, the expert group adopted the combine harvester to harvest in successive pieces, and carried out clearance inspection before harvesting, and the grain falling in the field was not counted in the yield. The yield measurement results show that the yield of the three fields is more than 800 kg, of which the highest yield is the "Ceres Wheat 19" wheat field in Xinxing Town, with a yield of 860.6 kg. Previously, on June 3, a high-yield demonstration field in Fanying Village, Yingquan District, Fuyang City was accepted, and the yield reached 851.05 kg. Both of these measured yields have set a new record of 819.85 kg of wheat yield in our province in 2020.

　　The relevant person in charge of the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs told reporters that in order to promote the production of high-quality special wheat, improve the level of yield, and improve the efficiency of wheat planting, the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs organized the search for the "highest yield of wheat in Anhui Province" activity, and the recent yield measurement found that the yield of wheat in many places in our province was more than 800 kg. The average yield of the other two plots reached 847.1 kg and 823.81 kg respectively. On June 4, the wheat production in the Zhanghu Group of Hanhu Village, Xuxu Township, Huaiyuan County, Bengbu Province, was tested, and the average yield reached 808.78 kg, setting a record for the yield of the wheat area along Huaihuai in our province. There are many high-yield fields for wheat, indicating that the overall level of wheat production this year is high and belongs to a better year. At a deep level, the repeated refreshment of the record of high wheat yield has benefited from the joint research of good seeds and the promotion and application of good methods. In recent years, a number of high-quality, high-yielding and adaptable new varieties have been promoted, including key technologies such as pest control, precision sowing, fertilizer and pesticide use, and the overall level of wheat production has been significantly improved.
