According to the American Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), a man in Illinois was wanted for violating bail rules, and his wanted photos accidentally went viral online. Netizens found that he looked too much like Walter White, the protagonist of the American drama "Breaking Bad", and the reason for being wanted was similar to the character in the play.
Illinois State Police posted online on Sept. 10 that 50-year-old Todd M. W. Barrick's facial picture, stating that he was in possession of methamphetamine while on probation, was therefore wanted and asked for public assistance in finding him. Netizens soon discovered that the photo of the wanted man was very similar to walter White, the protagonist of the American drama "Breaking Bad", and Walter White also made methamphetamine in the play.
Netizens joked that in this way, Walter White's actor Brian Cranston is really a rude person. It was also suggested that the police should try visiting Aberquerque, Mexico, where Breaking Bad was filmed.
