Sophie Turner joined "Between the Stairs" and "Uncle Face" to play father and daughter

Sophie Turner, who starred in X-Men: Dark Phoenix and Game of Thrones, announced her joining HBO's new series Between the Stairs. The series will revolve around the famous American unsolved case "Staircase Wife Murder Case", where Sophie will play one of the adopted daughters of the male protagonist Michael Peterson (Colin Feith).

Between the Stairs is based on the Netflix documentary series The Staircase Unsolved, which details the trial of American best-selling author Michael Peterson. In 2001, Peterson called the police to say his wife had died unexpectedly, but police suspected he had murdered her and faked the falsehood of her accidentally falling down stairs and dying. In addition, 20 years ago, Peterson attended the funeral of a friend who died of the same cause as his wife, and Peterson subsequently adopted the friend's two daughters. In the end, Peterson was found guilty by a jury and served his sentence in prison.
