Girls' Generation Tae-yeon suffered a loss of nearly 1.1 billion won from planned real estate fraud

Sohu Entertainment News On the 28th, according to Korean media reports, Girls' Generation Tae-yeon purchased land in Henan City, Gyeonggi Province, for 1.1 billion won from a large-scale real estate group in 2019. After purchasing land for 400 million won, the company sold it to Tae-yeon for 1.1 billion won within 3 months. The land is designated as a mountain field that cannot be repurposed. According to the Provisions of the Law on the Protection of Mountains and Forests, it is bundled as a "protected land" and is in fact undevelopable land.

Han police believe that after dividing the land that could not be developed into small pieces, the real estate group falsely claimed that there was undisclosed development information and sold it to more than 3,000 people. The group has a 20-year tradition, broadcasts television commercials, avoids public suspicion, and makes famous comedians from KBS open recruitment as salesmen, attracting wealthy investors.

Korean media contacted Tae-yeon's company, S.M Entertainment, on this matter, but it is currently impossible to contact.
