Greetings to China's pride and understanding of the spirit of the nation, welcome to listen:

Hello everyone, I'm Ma Tianyu. Welcome to the audio program "Hello, Zhong Nanshan" jointly created by China Youth Daily, China Youth Online and NetEase Cloud Music.

The majestic mountains can't scare the climbers who are brave enough to go forward, the vast sea can't stop the "tide" who fights the wind and waves, the vast snow can't stop the determined expedition team, the yellow sand can't stop the fearless explorers, how can the new crown raging be difficult to Chinese?

In fact, It is not only Zhong Nanshan who is optimistic and fearless, but everyone who laughs at difficulties and loves life. We believe that the virus will eventually be eliminated, even if we are isolated at home, we will not be disturbed; we believe that the disease will eventually be cured, even if we lie on the bed, we will not stop laughing; we believe that the war will eventually triumph, even if there is an occasional recurrence, it is only an episode before victory. Wearing masks, resuming work and production, vaccinate the whole population...

Imagine that 18 years ago, when SARS came, we even needed to run to Hong Kong to detect pathogens. Today, our own vaccines are already available to many countries around the world.

This kind of change did not come out of thin air, but was the result of generations of Chinese youth forging ahead in scientific research and industry, striving to be strong and tenacious.

The strength of the country lies in strength, and the backbone of the times lies in the youth! I hope that we can take up the baton to national rejuvenation and continue to stand at the head of the tide on the road to a strong country!

Doing learning, he is pragmatic and pragmatic; saving patients, he is fearless and retrograde!

From SARS to the new crown, they have stepped forward again and again to live up to the people. From the oath of the line of fire to the fight against the virus, the moat is unharmed, and the Chinese people are united!

Someone once asked Academician Zhong: "In the face of an unknown virus, are you not afraid?" He smiled and replied, "I have already seen death." ”

Today, I will taste the optimistic and fearless Zhong Nanshan with you.

Eighteen years ago, in 2003, the SARS outbreak broke out. Zhong Nanshan, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, charged ahead and took the initiative to ask "send me all seriously ill patients here."

In the Spring Festival of 2020, the new crown virus is menacing. The 84-year-old Zhong Nanshan was once again in danger of being appointed as the head of the high-level expert group of the National Health commission, and resolutely retrograde despite his personal safety, or the consistent "Nanshan style".

Someone asked him: "In the face of an unknown virus, aren't you afraid?" ”

He smiled and replied, "For death, I have already seen it!" ”

Although open-minded, what is unknown is that since SARS, his body has been in a state of condition: in 2004, he suffered a myocardial infarction and underwent surgery to install a stent; in 2007, atrial fibrillation forced him to say goodbye to the basketball court; in 2008, he suffered from thyroiditis and lost 10 pounds in just two months; in 2009, he had sinus surgery...

In the year of cardiac defibrillation, none of the many famous cardiologists agreed to do it. However, in order to work better, he still insisted on taking risks. He told the doctor that not doing this operation always affected his work efficiency, "I have time to slowly maintain."

Before the operation, Zhong Nanshan wrote a will very calmly, and after writing it, he also made serious changes.

At 8:30 a.m. on April 29, 2007, doctors began to prepare for his surgery. Zhong Lao, who is nearly 71 years old, talks and laughs, talks with the doctor, and tries to do psychological stress relief for the doctor, as if he is not going to do the operation himself.

At 11:00 a.m., his surgery was successful, and everyone carefully nursed him in the observation room, but it seemed that the easiest thing was himself, because the anesthesia finally gave him time to rest for a while.

The drizzle outside the window that day began to fall in the middle of the night and did not stop until noon the next day. When Zhong Nanshan woke up from his anesthesia, it was the brilliant spring sun after the rain outside the window.

"I'm fine, I'm alive, I just have a tube in my body." He spoke unusually calmly.

Perhaps for Zhong Nanshan, this risk is really nothing. In his early years of studying in the Uk, in order to find out the effect of carbon monoxide on blood oxygen transport, he used himself as a test product - inhaling carbon monoxide.

He brought in his colleagues from the Royal Hospital, injected carbon monoxide into his body, and kept drawing blood for tests. When the concentration of carbon monoxide in his blood reached 15%, doctors and nurses shouted, "It's too dangerous!" "They wanted him to stop.

This clock Nanshan's physical state is like smoking 50 to 60 cigarettes in a row, and the mind begins to dizzy. But he still shook his head, a look of fortitude and determination. He can't give up halfway, he has to draw a complete curve by experiment. He continued to inhale carbon monoxide, and the concentration of carbon monoxide in hemoglobin rose until 22 percent, and the curve was fully revealed.

Perhaps it is such optimism and fearlessness that even the virus is afraid of seeing him. In the early days of SARS, daily contact with patients did not make him infected with SARS, and has always been regarded as a "miracle" by the industry. During the new crown period, he is even more old and strong, media ventilation, international connections, federation clinics, almost every day in a continuous axis.

Asked what the secret to staying healthy is to be so busy, he replied, "Half of being healthy is mental health, and half of being sick is mental illness." I have experienced a lot, my mentality is better, and I can laugh at many things. ”
