According to Fox Sports Australia reporter Olgun Uluc, a source revealed that Mickey Crick has joined the Australian men's basketball team to replace the injured Xavier Cooks.
Cooks, who suffered a torn meniscus in his left knee during training camp, will miss this year's Men's Basketball World Cup.
Crick, 27, who is 1.98 meters tall and weighs 102 kilograms, was the loser of the 2014 draft. In the 2018-19 season, Crick played for the Nets and Timberwolves, averaging 4.2 points, 1.2 assists and 2.4 rebounds in 9.4 minutes per game.
In this Men's Basketball World Cup, Australia and Senegal, Canada and Lithuania are in The same Group H.
