A new study shows that conscientiousness is the most important quality in a mission on Mars, that is, always eager to do the right thing.
Five astronauts took part in a special training session in 2018 to live together for 4 weeks in an environment simulating the surface of Mars in Oman. Researchers at the University of Western Ontario in Canada analyzed their performance and came to the above conclusions. CNN quoted researchers as reporting that for astronauts who will live and work on the surface of Mars, conscientiousness is especially important than qualities such as honesty, modesty, extroversion, open-mindedness and pleasantness.
