As we all know, the military rank system, as an important link in the complete construction, has a very important position in the military work of all countries in the world. China introduced this system in the early 20th century, and later after several revisions, the rank has become a valid proof of the evaluation of the combat ability of an army's work, military literacy business wells and military qualifications, but even the corresponding ranks of the same rank in the armies of various countries are slightly different.

Taking our common rank of colonel as an example, how does this rank differ from country to country? In the military rank system implemented in our country at this stage, the rank of colonel with two bars and three stars is the second rank among the colonels. The main rank of the deputy division officer, above colonel and major general, is a title unique to most Western countries in China's army building.
In the armies of these countries that do not have the rank of colonel, the colonel is the first rank of the colonel officer, and the rank of the most important position is also used. Taking the U.S. Army as an example, the positions awarded by colonels in the U.S. Army and colonels in our Army are basically the same. All are standard ranks at the regimental level. Most Air Force colonels hold the position of United States Air Force Wing Commander, while Navy captains mostly hold the position of Captain of a Battleship.
In addition to combat units, colonels in U.S. Department of Defense ministries are often in key departments and functional positions. Being able to make statements on behalf of the sector has a lot of actual rights. Due to the different titles set by the armies of different countries, it is impossible for the ranks of the armies of different countries to correspond completely. Similarly, officers at the colonel level are mainstays in the armies of various countries.
